He's still regarded as one of the top 6-10 players of all-time, the greatest British player of all-time without question, did well in Europe, and that's all despite the fact he never got to show his skills on the world stage at a world cup. Pele regarded him as the best player in the world, and in his recent autobiography 'a player without equal'. Best was gifted with pure genius, love him or hate him there's no denying that.
