  • What is the form you're using to put the foot ring on called? Are those commercially available?

  • @WallowingInTheMud I made the foot form from masonite. The trick is to have holes in it to prevent an air-lock and to add a handle for pulling it off.

  • Any chance of getting that beautiful blue glaze recipe? Is it cone 10? Wonderful work!

  • @TheWinecountrygirl No. We don't give away our recipes. As a few clues, it's cone 10, gas fired reduction, and with 4% cobalt oxide. Without such a large amount of cobalt you won't get the richness. Regards Ric

  • Whoa, that is nice! I'm about to take Beginning Ceramics with the throwing wheel this coming college semester, and I thought I'd get a glimpse of what it'll be like. I've heard that I can make things on my own time and that a lot of students do, so I thought I'd see if it would be more difficult doing hand built things.

  • holy shit !!! I didn't expect it to be that beautiful at the end o.O good job
