Ps3 and xbox are the same damn consoles. The Ps3 has more potential power, but it takes too long to harness that. It would take years to make a game that would use all it's power and after that, the graphics would be outdated. Is it necessary? Hell no. It's bragging rights. It's all goes down to preference. The games look identical on either console. Fanboys are just people who whine about shit. Ps3 has great games, crappy interface and online. Xbox also has great games and the online rocks.
