Thanks for your comments you are right of course about eddy currents etc securing heavy magnets is a problem I have encountered even at speeds of 1000rpm, wrecked a bedini window motor, never stand in the line of fire.
Don't use brass or any metal as a keeper, you will get eddie current and atomic level drag, as used in Drag Cup Rev counter couplings. Magnetic fields have an effect on all metals. Also if you do the math it will shock you how great the force to fly out on those magnets is. I do a lot with Flywheel storage devices, you are talking Lethal levels of force. Don't quote me, but I think its around 7 tonns at the hub at 4,000rpm. Handle with care, good luck.

Let me get this straight. You are using 1 battery to power a motor that generates electricity to another battery? All you are doing is just transfering electricity from one battery to another.
Yes I have used it to re charge 12v batteries also for imput for a grid tie inverter but my bedini window motor which is driving it could not cope with the load imposed on it by the grid tie and fried the tranistors, I was pushing it to find at what point the window motor would fail, at the time I was putting 425w approx' into the grid at around 620 revs a minute.In the process of repairing the electronics of my window motor to do more tests.

Hello , i must be loosing the plot here - i see you have 6 coils but eight magnets? i thought youd have 6 magnets in N-S-N-S?. im struggling to find a clear diagram of a Delta set i just cant relate the schematic picture to an actual alternator. can ya help? =D

matijacer.I wish I was a genius then I would have figured how to fully charge a battery from the bedini only get about 50% charged, plenty of voltage coming out of bemf and generator perhaps not enough amps.Not an expert on magnets but I presume they will last a long time, outlive me.500vdc would destroy the electronics on my machine, I never go above 36vdc when driving a load.
Nice job man, genius work. Are you have any design. I have to build these bedini revolution motor. What do you think, how long will magnets last before expiration. What would hapend if we rin these machine on 500 V DC?

Hi If you use 1.5mm enamelled copper wire for the coil will you get the same results as magnet wire?
