A mind IS a terrible thing to waste to say the least it is tragic and very commonly done. America is the ultimate in making everything disposable including it's brightest minds.

I think much of the discrimination is ignorance based and this because it is just not understood properly by most. Education has neglected it and most religions condemn it but that does not make it go away or be less real to those it affects.
