Nice review. I should know. The eathiness, meaty, "primal" tastes of some of the Malbec's have musk overtones which impart a new element to red wines that were only ever close to being tasted in "over the top" cabs. Malbec has returned to its rightful position in the nobility of red wines. Thanks Argentina!
You're a young guy so I guess you don't realize that Argentine Malbecs were the toughest wines on earth years ago. Anything but "easy". They're only easy now because Argentine wine makers globalized/Parkerized the hell out of them so they'd be easier to sell to Americans who want wines for use not only with dinner but as an aperitif. Argentines drank their Malbecs with the cuisine of the region, which was and is meat, meat and more meat. All grilled.
Just drink the effin grape water and get smashed already. Why the eff does EVERY wine these pansies taste (made out of grapes) taste like cherry? These nuts drive me up the wall. Just drink the damn juice!
yes, its only grape-juice: bloody delicious dry sweet multi-dimensional mind-altering kundalini on the tongue...There is an Alto Salvador 2004 Malbec on my tongue now...Which stiffs made you spit that stuff, they should be hanged!!
just drink the fucking wine.. nobody wants to hear you swishing the wine around and spitting

am drinking a 2.99 bottle from trader joe's. I think I prefer the 2.99 down under wine more.

Why do you suck air during your tasting? Don't you never actually drink it?
