i dont get why everyone doesnt like chargers because they have 4 doors. have 2 more doors doesnt make it any slower. if your gonna complain about a charger complain about the late 80's one because they put 4 cylinders in them
@curtmaster3001 yeah and my mother's mini-van hauls ass compared to the cars that wore Charger badges in the 80's. No one here is refering to those. We are arguing that a true Charger should have two doors and never be a sedan. That aside, no one is saying that the new chargers aren't fast, except that since they are so heavy they also handle about as well as your over-weight girlfriend weaving her way through a living room towards the refrigerator.

@2stoned2care Dude, the reason Dodge went to the 4 door Charger is to more directly relate to its original purpose as a car. The original charger was not meant to be a "muscle car", it was meant to be a family car, it just happened to have 2 doors. I know, I know, they should have kept this thing a 2 door BUT by making it a 4 door they're technically staying truer to the charger roots. the "ORIGINAL" roots, not our interpretation
@grabberbluemach actually,the "original" charger WAS meant to be a sport version of the Coronet( basically a fastback coronet coupe )....in 1968 it grew into its own seperate line( the 1st version used coronet sheet metal from the front bumper back to the rear of the doors).....
I don't think the interior changes are dramatic enough to warrant buying the brand new Charger/300 if all you need is a current model. I just bought an SRT8 300C and I'm loving it. A 6.4 must be ridiculous on gas cause right now, I'm averaging 10 mpg.
I hope they make this because my 06 looks way better! The front end looks ok but the rest is terrible, the window loses its point at the end, looks more like a "normal sedan".
If only they got rid of that stupid ass cross hair grille like they did with the challenger. I hate that thing, make It go all the way across like old chargers used to
wow so they just redid the interior, made the front look more angry and aggressive and gave it a more clasical looking ass....... nice...... i wouldnt mind driving one of those. im still in love with the older chargers before it like from 2010 - all the way back to the 1970's.... we need to see an SRT8 model now ;)
