I remember watching what back then seemed to be endless rerun episodes of HarveyToons in the middle east, this took me back 25 years I could remember all the sound effects, bg music, and speech intonations, too bad this and many others episodes of Casper weren't included in the so called "Harvey Toons - The Complete Collection" 06 DVD release.

I saw the series when it first aired on ABC, 'minisode'. There were two new "Casper" stories per show, with a "Harveytoon" (one of the 1959-'62 Paramount theatrical "Noveltoons"/"Modern Madcaps") rounding out the half-hour...

Another of the cartoons [produced for Harvey by Paramount Cartoon Studios in New York] featured on "THE NEW CASPER CARTOON SHOW" (1963-'64), featuring the voices of Norma McMillan and Bradley Bolke (who sounded at times like his brother, Dayton Allen); they later worked on TTV/Leonardo's "UNDERDOG SHOW" and "TENNESSEE TUXEDO AND HIS TALES", respectively...

this ep of casper (and it's supreme level of trippiness LOL) reminds me of the ep of spongebob where they kill the health inspector... funny as hell, but in a should-i-be-laughing kinda way, LMAO!
