  • i am on acid

  • I wish that Crow was my grandpa

  • The crow is so cool

  • ssssht....just chill on these tunes that were given us by Bo.

  • "oh no, i set my notes on fire..... now the rooms on fire." (BO DIddley begins playing)

  • @Mtdeadhead312

    Better get the blanket

    The blanket's on fire

We better call the fire department...

    than Bo diddley begins

  • crows are cool MOFO's

  • me pone de buen humor :D

  • Great scene. Nice song.

  • buddy holly also sings this song >_>

  • bo diddley!

  • bo didley!

  • Bo Didley

  • Who sings this song? Does anyone know?

  • The best Jive in cartoon history.

  • They should do a film based in the same universe as Fritz the Cat, but based on the other side of the Iron Curtain

  • i love this scene

  • Perhaps the best scene transition ever...

  • yeahh the master song ilove them

  • Ok Kiddies he is doing what is known as the Hand Jive.

and that Effect is done with Colour Celluloid over top of the Back lit Cells Cool Effect, it looks better in the Theater though.

a Video or a DVD never dose Any animation Justice it has to bee seen up on the Screen where you can see Frits and see his bitch spiting mad at him... Remember he is a Womanizer and a Bum and all Frits cares about is himself. he is supposed to be the Embodiment of America Sad huh?

  • Bo Diddley, the real king of Rock 'n' Roll.

  • the Hand Jive requires two hands...what you're watching is just ingenious animation.

  • A great subtle scene, just the bird dancing to a brilliant song, nuff said. Im not generally a big fan of animated films, but I love both of the Fritzes.

  • That crow is awesome..great movie...

  • yeah I can see why do to the time period it cam out it was still out there, nowadays it should just be unrated haha

  • I think its a passable "R" but my friend thinks it should be NC-17. Wat u guys think?

  • well it was an X, but I think that was just for marketing purposes

seems more like a hard R to me

  • most people dont try to get and X rating

less theaters will show it especially back then

  • that sounds like the logical answer, however even Ralph Bakshi admits that, with all the taglines of "Hes X Rated and Animated!" and such, it was really trying to appeal to perverts. Luckily though, Fritz was a huge success with both critics and movie goers

  • true true. well i mean he already got the x rating might as well advertise it haha.

  • @preston9219 On the movie poster, "We ain't X-rated for nothing."

  • the bird is so straight up pimp...

got his shoe shine on and just grooving it...

  • I wish this could be a screensaver

  • oh FAK yeah

    im on it

    -hero

  • Excellent!

  • Best scene from the film.

  • yup the best !!!

  • The best intermission in a cartoon!

  • Dayummmmm that crow's got it

This is the best loop animation ever, I could stare at it for hours

  • you are so right - i could stare at it for hours, too

  • Thx so much for uploading this! Bravo!

  • that bird is fucking chiiiiiiillll

  • Best scene in the whole movie.

  • I love this scene, lol. So cute. Good ol' Bo Diddly.... ♥

  • Billy Holiday's scence was also amazing "Yesterdays"

  • Oh, yeah!!! I love that sequence too!

  • I still wish I knew how Bakshi did the kick ass animation in this clip, hand-drawn too. You have wonder how many times Tarantino watched this movie because his style's clearly reminiscent of Bakshi's. Lots of melodrama and illicit activity with great music.

  • Anyone else notice how the subtitles do not mean at all what the lyrics are?

  • hep2875. I think the guy that uploaded this clip is mexican or something because the subtitles are in Spanish.

  • yes but the translation is off...

  • my dad saw this movie the first day it was in theaters. The ticket price to see this movie in 1972 was 50 cents.

  • meow!

  • Yes.

  • RIP Bo Diddley

  • This has to be one of the best films to ever come out. Watch the whole film. Its beautiful. Fritz was an everyday man; he was you or me. This dipicts what the 60 and 70's and what life was like then so tragically well. I think this movie deserves a lot more credit than people might give it. And the rating? well, LIFE is rated X.

  • (by dane youssef)

This must've seen like really scathing satire worthy of an X-rating for the day. It wasn't just risque. It was culturally relevant of what was being shyed away from and tiptoed around.

It's funny how tame it all feels by today's standards. Except for the "nudity."

Still, maybe it's a good thing that this one is so dated. What if all this was STILL going on? How far we've come in 30 years... Heaven forbid.

Maybe that's what it was trying to do.

  • How far we've COME? We've grown WORSE. :P

  • The entire film is on Dailymotion by the way

  • no its not PART 1 is deleated or something by the asshole that uploaded I checked

  • 1. One of a few movies you'll NEVER see undedited on TV ( Along with "Midnight Cowboy" and "Last Tango in Paris".)

2, I think this STILL would get an X (or NC 17 or whatever) in the States. I don't care how "far" we've come in 35+ years, Americans are still prudes and, as someone else in here said, we still don't get it.

  • that's one groovy bird

  • I've been up and down the four corners of this big old world. I've seen it all and I've done it all. I've fought many a good man, and I've laid many a good woman.

  • when i first read that.. i knew it had to do with the movie.. and i thought well another point in a decent movie... but i watched the whole movie (in German) on YTube... your commment makes alot more sense than it did.. thanks... great quote

  • It's tragic how many people these days are going to watch this to see cartoon animal porn, and completely miss the message... :P

  • your so right

    revolt!!!!!!

  • Revolt, ya thick skulled IDIOTS!

  • @LightMyFire92

    Which is?

  • @LightMyFire92 furries in the 60's

  • @LightMyFire92 drawn together is probley as far as you get to this nower days porn wise

  • @LightMyFire92 then, what is the message??? I don't understand the movie, one bit.

  • @nerdyemmagirl

Basically that the hippie movement was a joke.

  • @LightMyFire92 the sex doesn't hurt

  • @LightMyFire92 or to trip while watching

  • Comment removed

  • @LightMyFire92 Oh ok.. I just saw the rest of the parts and see what your comment was about! Crazy cartoon... man..

  • nice

  • tremendo! me acuerdo del flaco agurto y el pelao ruben con este gato marihuanero!!!

  • Thx so much for uploading this! Bravo!

  • been searching for this! thnx uploader

  • que peta tío, que peta----.....

  • hi .......

  • i love this part ^^

  • I love this song!

  • That crow kicks ass.

  • Indeed.

  • Thanx LightMyFire92. Love this music.

  • Same here. It fits the scene really well :)

  • What's the name of this song?

  • 'Bo Diddley' by Bo Diddly (Song has an 'E', singer does not)

  • LOL mani this is some where in the middle of the movie. but yes, it is 1 of the best movies. you should watching while ure trippin ^_^ better x10

  • the best fuckin' intro for any movie. nuff' said!

  • It's actually not the intro. It's after Fritz sets his dorm and NYU on fire.

  • Methinks this is sped up. My copy is slower during the sequence.

  • For some reason, I really like this scene. Bo Diddley playing with the crow just standing there snapping along, don't know why.

  • i love this film stoned! the nine lives is even better!

  • I used to have an underground comic,Mr Natural, and hid it from my kids. It made them really want to read it. Then when they grew up and saw it, didn't think it was a big deal.

  • This movie was good

  • How about GOFUCKYOURSELFANDGETAJOB DOT COM

SHUT THE FUCK UP SPAMMER! GODDAMN!

  • Right on!!

  • Bo Diddley

watching this scene a few years back was the first time i heard this song and Bo Diddley

  • Does anyone know the name of the song used in this clip?

  • awesome crow dude.

  • Totally.

  • I herd about this movie on Wikipedia.. I herd from my friend this movie is X rated is that true.

  • Yeah, it was indeed rated X. I'm not sure if it would get an NC-17 today, but it would at least get a "hard R." There's frequent use of the F-word, animated nudity and some violent scenes.

  • Here's what I don't get. The female animals have nipples, but the males have no genetalia. WTF?

  • Didn't you see the pigs?

  • I think you see Fritz' wang at one point as well.

  • I remember a male character peeing on a policeman in the film and a pigs trousers fall down.

  • They have peckers. They just aren't obvious. They look more like middle fingers running from their thighs.

  • Betcha in all hells it'd get an X to this day.

And that is what makes this film so...

    ... dare I say...

    ...enticing.

  • bo goes well wit everything

  • That's a very, very catchy tune! Love that bird-guy too. Reminds me of an extra from Count Duckula. Nice design.

  • Dazzling work of art! Carallo!

  • i love this movie!!!!!!

  • put some more plz! I just heardo of these cartoons and would like to see more of them.

  • the song's really sped up.

  • Bo knows Fritz!
