  • Thats cool . Ive done demos with the rsl vs xl and the rsl always out cleans . Just sayin... I guess Im bias though .

  • @quehaana48 well I would have to agree, which is why I sold my xl two months ago

  • I really did'nt get much from this vid. Try talking and putting down some kapok or some other type of demo material . I'm a RICCAR dealer .

  • @quehaana48 My vids are short and sweet not hear to show anything just doing it for the hell of it.

  • The Oreck Xl21 I think is a $700 appliance and has a wooden brush-roll. It doesn't seem that the brush-roll would last very long. Why couldn't they put a plastic brush-roll on it or something better than that? Even the $400 Dyson DC24 Ball vacuum that I have has a better brush-roll.

  • I think Riccar/Simplicity is going to make a comeback since moving manufacturing back here to the USA, they have a a lot of quality controls in place.

  • is the Oreck a quiet cleaner?

  • @celesteraez A little bit

  • @Abcrokid both 9lbs

  • @Abcrokid can you do a oreck xl 2800 2 speed

  • @ Calsonic66 Hopefully you don't take it wrong but having worked at a vacuum dealer i've come to learn that the orange oreck xl 14T is none other than a blue windsor vacuum you'd see a janitor using in a school.

  • I can't say that the Oreck is better than the Riccar because I don't own both machines. But I think the Riccar is prob better at cleaning do to its metal brush bar.

  • @OrecksRule223 What riccar model turns the brush bar off? and how much does it cost?

  • Try an Aerus FreshEra.

  • @panaclean775 I'm sorry but Oreck will never be a good "deep cleaner." The motor is simply to small, as well as the fan, and ALL of the Oreck brushrulls, are terrible. Supralites have bigger motors and bigger fill tubes. Some model also feature a metal brushroll, and all the others have very stiff brushrolls, unlike Oreck's soft ones.

  • The Pilots brush isnt very much different. But is stiffer.

  • @OrecksRule223 Well When i brought my 21 in to the store to compare they were the same.

  • @Abcrokid the platnium pilot is just a upgraded xl21

  • @zachmamaw I might be getting the platinum pilot.

  • @OrecksRule223 Shut up.

  • @vacuumlover1 Do you really have to start fights. You do with everyone you jerk.

  • @OrecksRule223 take your Orwrecks somewere else. No one wants them.

  • @vacuumlover1 Haha. OK. People Enjoy my vids so stop harassing me. I will report you to Youtube.

  • @OrecksRule22 Seriously, he starts fights with everyone. He's always bragging about the vacuums he has. He thinks he knows it all about vacuums, just because he works at his dad's vacuum shop. I enjoy your videos. And I like how cool you are about vacuums, not crying over a vacuum cleaner.

  • @vacuumlover1 What vacuum brand do you have then since you know everything about them?

  • @bobcat101100 i have over 80 brands. :l

  • @vacuumlover1 So you own a vacuum dealer then? For some reason every time my family and I get new vacuum they always break after like 1 or 2 months. Which brand do you like most?

  • So the brushroll is the same as the xl21..Ok cool.Thats interesting how they didn't use it on the Premium that came after the xl21.

  • @panaclean775 I have never heard of premium.

  • @OrecksRule223 Lol!! I'm sorry.I meant the xl Platinum. Not the Pilot but the reg xl Platinum.

  • @panaclean775 So i went to the oreck store and my xl21 has the same brush roll motor and baseplate as the new Pilot like I thought it did. When you saw online or wherever about the new and improved brush roll it was referring to the white version they used for a little bit. But the swivel aspect aside mine cleans Identically to the Pilot it, I tired mine next to the pilot in the store.

  • @Abcrokid No. The Pilot is different. They changed the brushroll. I'll compare a XL 21 to a Pilot. And they didnt use the white version for a little bit. They replaced the red ones.

  • Hello to all, at the end of the day most quality vacuums like a Riccar, Oreck, Miele, Old Electrolux, Sharp and many more are neck in neck with performance and filtration. But what it comes down to is Service After The Sale! The old expression is, the Salesman sells the first one, but SERVICE sells the next. The Oreck gets 21 years of FREE TUNE ups and a 21 YEAR warranty on non ware and tear parts. I work on Supralites, even if you hand tighten the screws the housing studs crack and snap!

  • i have the oreck xl platinum :D

  • I always thought of the Riccar as more of an actual upright, and the Oreck like an "apartment" vacuum, or kitchen vacuum. .

  • LOL, yea or a vac for fat women that live in a trailer and watch QVC all day.

  • @Abcrokid If u dont like Oreck why buy one?? I mean come On....

  • True But I have Got a Rug caught in my Oreck XL 21 Many times and nothing has broke the belt. All you have to do is turn the vacuum Off....

  • I like this oreck but I really want to see a demonstration of the Oreck Pro XL 14T in action.

  • I know lol

  • Awesome video, there aren't enough versus vids lol, by the way does anyone know what happened to tristarcxl. This is his second time leaiving.

  • Thanks, Tristrarcxl created his own forum. Someone told me it and i forgot and I was just going to ask for it again.

  • Looks are definetly decieving. The panasonic has no where near the power and is so loud and sounds very unrefined.

  • Although Riccar is the best brand, their machines unlike Miele and Dyson are fairly expensive. If you get the Riccar 8900, you could compare it to the RSL5.

  • I agree they are wickedly overpriced for the quality. I bought a Vibrance Premium at the same time so I could compare it to that. I bought it over the 8900 becuase every dealer has nothing good to say about the 8900 series

  • OMG I've been wanting that Riccar since it came out!!!

    :D

  • LOL, It amazes me how much different it performs than my Freedom 3600 I just sold. Although the brush pattern on this sweeps dirt towards the belt side not the air intake side. I think the color combo is very classy.
