guru gobind singh ji didnt come from sodhi family...none of our gurus came from jatt families!
it's irrelevant anyway. what needs to be read is the guru granth sahib!

lol Guru Gobind Singh came from Sodhi khatri family. Adi Guru Granth Sahib needs to be red, yes, but also imortant is bani of dasam guru :)

yeh exactly what other guy was saying, if it wasn't important then it wouldn't have been written in Bachittar Natak by Guru Gobind Singh, and also by Bhai Gurdass who wrote called Guru Ram Dass as Sodhi patshah. If you read Bacchitar Natak bani, you would see how important the lineages were in deciding the gurrgaddi and destiny. But I guess this modernised Singh Sabha and jathebandis sikhi being taught doesn;t include all the paratan traditions and history coming from Guru ji's times.
