Not what they intended, but I guess there's a truth laying here: the Wii is a gimmicky system, that has shitty graphics and low quality games.

They also made a mistake: older audiences (whom this ad tried to appeal) don't buy kiddy games.

Wii is a console specific for family, groups and casual gaming.

If you´re a dedicated player, you will sure prefer PS3 or Xbox360, but if it´s fun with other people or casual, simple fun what you seek, it really doesn´t make sense spending so much money with those.

Wii is cheap, simple and fun and that´s how it was supposed to be since its conception. For that, Wii made the job in the market.
