Hopefully we learn from our errors, lapses and mistakes wherever and however they are caused. There are fairly involved stories behind these accidents and no one should go flying without a good reason and thorough preparation by all involved, not just the flight crew. Can't just pull over on the side of the road once you are flying. Reporting and investigation of aviation accidents has helped make our skies safer over the years.
