I think it means he peaked at the age of 29, and the drugs messed up his mind to the point that it was all downhill after the young age of 29.

@SystemFreaKk13 other then the last verse i think the song is talking about how things can enhance ones time (Songs shitty so smoke a bong, meat tastes terrible so roll a spliff, wine tastes bad but after a few more glasses it doesnt matter anymore does it) and then the last verse i believe is basically what voidbeeswax said, all the enhanced fun broke his mind and it was down hill at the young age of 29.

So perhaps the message is: Pleasure comes at a price.

Although ive yet to have the chance to try and meet les, Ive heard that hes fairly easy to approach, Like he doesnt try to avoid people really. Ive heard many people that got their basses signed and autographs and even shot the shit with him in passing.

I hope he comes to the east coast of canada soon......

@sociopathix Sorry about the late reply but yes, he is VERY kind and is a great man to meet. I've met him only once and he is pretty easy to approach (as long as you don't shit your pants) and will definitely sign your bass.
