I have to agree, screencast-o-matic is a wonderful tool for recording screen captures and it is SUPER easy!!! Great tutorial! I have been using it recently instead of the standalone installed programs like Freez Screen Video Capture and Camstudio-Recorder.
@PrincessPreteen01 Oh, you young whippersnappers! I'm embarrassed to admit that at the time I made this, I didn't know how to capture an image. As far as Paint goes, I never think to use it. You are absolutely right! Thanks for the feedback.
I prefer Screencast-O-Matic too although Jing's interface is so much prettier. One more thing that I really like from Screencast-O-Matic is that even on the free version you can record to up to 15 mins, unlike Jing which cap your recording (even on Pro version) to only 5 mins.
I agree, although the 5-minute limit is probably a good thing. Who really wants to watch a screencast longer than that? It forced me into good habits of keeping it quick and breaking longer tutorials into steps.

why use jing to capture image when yuu can press prnt scrn on a keyboard and use paint to edit the section... -.-
