I make many mistakes when I type or speak English, and that's very common for non-natives. However, the mistakes she has made have been totally beyond embarrassment. Ok.. for those who said we shouldn't be so picky to scrutinize everything she said because people can make mistakes, I totally understand that. I make many mistakes when I type or speak English, and that's very common for non-natives. However, the mistakes she has made have been totally beyond embarrassment. Besides she is not just anyone; she is the Thai Prime Minister. If she can't speak English properly, then speak Thai and get the translator. I don't mnd at all. Speak Thai then please.

@akamanda17 what do you know about respect? We accept the fact that English isn't her first language but we just can't accept the fact that she believe that she can speak the language while she has no clue what went through her "mouth" (not mount, learn from this and you will improve your english).
This has nothing to do with her accent, get it through your skull...

We always respect people who can not speak English well because it is not their own language.We always respect Leader of China even though he could not speak English. We always respect people who have different English accent around the world . If you don't understand about this ,it is waste time talk to you. Can you speak Thai very well ? Can you speak English every well? Why do you have to judge someone because of their accent?

@akamanda17 I'm not just talking about her accent, it's the "ability to communicate" that is SO low for a "leader" standard. I'm not talking about skill of a regular people. She's a leader if she's unable to give a better speech, she should have used an interpreter for the sake of the country. Listen to her Q&A, do u honestly think it's up to a leader standard, the way she answered the press ? If this is the best she can do as a representative of my country, she got 0 respect from me.

@akamanda17 I bet she knew nothing about the speech she had just "read". If we asked her to summarize it, she would go "blank". And that's reason why the speech came out so awkward, it's NOT about the accent alone. Totally agree with w4rut.

@akamanda17 "Do" I clear? No I "am" not clear just because you were saying that your husband is Canadian, not English. If you implied that native English speakers would share the same idea about the PM, I assume that you either didn't finish high school or your are 8. My recommendation is to go back to high school and learn how to write properly first.
By the way, we are not talking about her f**king accent, we are talking about her language skill. Try to get this throug your thick skull.

When I asked you that does this look like someone who did a degree in the state, do you know that it is a yes or no question. If you do, then just simply answer "yes" or "no".
