@DisneyContinent All of these floats were from the previous Block Party Bash parade. I recommend finding a video of it to see what a good parade looks like. It featured showstops and the ladders on the cones and other floats were so the performers could easily get to different places on the floats during the showstop.

I get it. It's a cute parade with catchy music for the kiddies who gets to see their favorite pixar characters in what kids believe to be amazing large giant floats. The parade is for the kids. I get it.

But Disney Hollywood Studios needs a parade that features everything that is a Disney film, not just Pixar.

Well let see, Since i have worked at the Disneyland Resort at DCA in Anaheim from 2001- 2008 - The Pixar Parade is better there... More people dancing, better dancers, and it was just all fun and crazy there... We would dance with the guest and the floats are just more outstanding. What is going on here? Was there cast member calling out for that day or what? I mean I LOVE Disney... but wow come on Disney... whats happening here?

@LvGuy1981 All of those cast members are very talented, just very underutilized. They all use to be in Block Party Bash and are all amazingly talented. However this new parade and every other parade they aren't used to their full potential.

I was hoping this parade was just as good as BPB & PPP but it's just another recycled parade that Disney pulled out of their sleeves. I thought new floats, Cars, Nemo & Wall-E too while the BPB floats get sent of to Paris or somewhere like that. I do like the parade but I am just disgusted that Disney just keeps recycling the floats, music and costumes.

@jessmiztagrl I'm sure Imagineering has nothing to do with this, that's why it's so bad. This was very much an in house production I'm sure and I'm costuming was told from upper management to re use the BPB costumes and that was it. I doubt they had much of a choice.

I just think they need to make it more PIXAR like. The non blocky floats are great and they have a much bigger amount of PIXAR characters then we had at California Adventure. The song is basically the same, maybe if they had actual PIXAR songs it ould make the parade more relatable and more exciting for the crowd. But that's just me.

Love the Parade but come on, i think that the Incredibles, ratatouie, and up deserve better parade floats than THAT. A nice introduction float or whatever would be nice to. I really have no idea what WDW is thinking with their parades. All they did was repaint the floats and added a new soundtrack (which isn't even new)? The Celebrate a Dream Come True parade floats have been at the MK for a decade now. Is this what they'll do for DHS too? Look at Disneyland, they create a brand new parade from scratch every 3-5 years! Parade of Dreams from 05-08 then Celebrate a Street Party from 09-10 and now Sounsational is premiering in spring... what's up DW?

Wow...sounds like some whiny WDW employees commenting. Looks like a fun parade whether or not it's 'recycled'. The last one was too big for that park so this is more of a reduction of the same theme. Seems like the people there are enjoying it...and that's all that matters. Way to support the company that writes your checks castmembers!!

@citygirl3800 I'm a cast member, and was a WDW fan before I hired on. I'm allowed to think anything I want of my company when I'm not working, and this is a terrible parade. Would I tell a guest that when I'm wearing my nametag? No. But when I'm not, I can say what I want. And lot of CMs are bitter towards Disney for writing their checks, because most of us earn minimum wage and are severely underpaid for the level of things Disney requires us to do and be on a daily basis.

I like the block party bash floats but they are just not appropriate for this parade. Maybe since the Pixar Play parade in California has been stopped and will not run until probably late next year can we get them floats instead.

Recycle, Reuse, Reduce!! ...And that's just what WDW world does. They get California's hand me downs and then have to recycle them even more. I think the thought process that goes through the company's mind is that WDW gets more "first time" guests so they can get away with a cheap performance where as to Disneyland and DCA gets everything brand new because the majority of their clientele are passholders. It kind of makes sense in a way but it is very sad.

This just depresses me. It really pales in comparison to BPB. Even compared to CDCT, which in my opinion is really boring, it sucks. It has so few characters and the choreography is just boring, repetitive, and lacks energy. Rilous and other Disney management wanted a cheaper parade and that's what they got. The sad part is most guests aren't going to even realize just how much they are getting cheated. They are just going to say "That's it?" Ugh. Way to go.

It's kinda sad to not see Lighting McQueen leading the parade. I can remember waiting to see my first disney parade in over a decade and hearing the roar of lighting's engine at the very start

I think they have really count down on the parades in this country i know in other places they have great ambient feeling to the park and great shows, i wish they brought the great parades from the past, one thing im sure happy of is them bringing back the fireworks in california, the anniversary fireworks. Plus im sure happy of going old fashion vintage disney with Disney's California Adventure, i hope it comes out well.

@Jacbo96 you know, Disney has a reputation of having AMAZING entertainment offerings, and this is just a big slap in the face, people pay REALLY good money to visit their theme parks everyday..and when you give the guests something that they just saw a few months ago, just repainted and borrowing music from another parade. its just tacky. really tacky...and cheap.
