I think it is amazing to see the Native American's fish weir but also sad because the proposed uranium mining, mill and tailings ponds will be located just above this hill.

Actually, the proposed mining site is about 4 to 5 miles west-southwest of the weir, as the crow flies.

Oops, I was wrong. I was thinking of the Markham fish weir, but this is the Mt. Airy fish weir. This weir is about 7 miles from the proposed uranium site.
