hey theres an other way. Once you have opened the megavideo page, press the play button and let the video play for a few seconds. Then press the pause button, and let the entire video to load. When the video is fully loaded, disconnect your computer from the internet, or use a firewall to stop your browser from communicating with the megavideo server.

This is something that isn't addressed in the FAQ, (and captcha doesn't work properly for me in the "contact us" part of the site) so hopefully someone can offer some advice on this little issue I'm having:

The Illimitux player page keeps reloading every single minute. I've checked all settings in Firefox, and nothing is set to reload. I even have the cacaoweb extension that's required to remove limitations, and I've tried with ABP enabled and disabled with no success. Any fixes for this?

Even easier is to just reset your modem when you hit the time limit. Refresh the page and and go back to where you were in the video. Easy.

@thaslider works only on long videos, videos that are 20-30 minutes (don't know exact numbers) do not work. still, if it stops at a certain time, you can watch the rest on the original megvideo, because it doenst count the time you watched :)

the Illimitux website has gone blank. I ran out when it quit working. It opened up a new tab for the video, but it was blank. I can't even get onto the main website to see if I can close my account. this sucks big time.

@teengene Megavideo introduced the time limit BECAUSE it was so successful. The videos were fast, and had better quality than other sites, so Megavideo could start to make people pay to watch the videos.

if you have reached your 72 min limit on megavideo just reset your router (hub). that changes your ip address and lets you watch again without waiting for the time limit

Ok. I have Firefox, I installed Illimitux properly, and it does this weird thing on Megavideo... it works... it starts buffering untill it reaches 100% and then it suddenly refreshes itself and stays locked on 0%.

I have been having the same problems... I heard if you have Adblock Plus and don't disable it on their site it will not work... I haven't tried it because I don't want ads up the ass.

I do appreciate the group of people that are involved with this and I hope they can solve these problems in the future.
