  • they're not like other bands which their cd sounds better; for the first time in a while this band doesn't sound much different live. Mikel Jollett's voice is one of the very best I've ever heard.

  • Yeah, there are elements of U2, Radiohead, David Bowie, etc. Rock Kills Kid was the U2-ish upstart a few years ago with "Hideaway." These guys might be borrowing quite heavily, as well, but it sounds good.
