The automatic tranny in the tiburons is not bad at all, it runs the fastest 0-60, and has the highest max speed out of all the trannys. It is a matter of personal preference, I am running the exact same Sniper Stage 1 Superchager, on a stock v6 block on my 06 tibby at 4lbs, and I am beating Mustangs left and right. Not to mention all together I have only like $13,000 into my car (It's a salvaged title), which is lower than most MSRP's on everything.

i noticed it was an automatic, i had an 5 speed wrx and blew 2 transmisions, i know im a dumbass, i got screwed on the second one, they didnt put the one i wanted in....anyways i got a automatic Tiburon v6 03 and i was wondering if the supercharger runs pretty smooth in the automatics, my buddy had a s/c 6 speed 04 and he screwed up his clutch real bad. My car is pretty much set up and ready for a s/c, let me know.
the auto on the tib is actually stronger than the manual tranny is, you will probably blow your engine before your tranny ... infact ... i blew a piston ring a few days ago and just ordered a built block, but the tranny is great and still stock

@bakerking31 Ya I totally believe that, I supercharged Tuscani blowin a custom exhaust can put out 400hp, plus because the tuscani is a FWD, the torque is right there from engine to wheels, while the vette is a RWD, it loses some to ground power. You can't believe everything they put in the manuals and magazines. While yes a huge part is human error and consistantly, It would be a good race I think.

I had a yellow 2003 Tiburon Tuscani V6 6spd model I had a body kit all around the car and other stuff. It was no more than 2 inches off the ground. I had Lamborghini doors on it. I don't have any videos of it but man, that car sounded mean! I have many pics of it though. It looked and sounded cool and all but it wasn't cool having it so low to the ground. I sold it but I don't miss it that much. I only had 40,000 miles on my Tiburon.
