@Watalull Not saying I can do that, but check out the "John Butler Trio - Ocean" video here on youtube. I don't see any stuff Andy does here that Butler doesn't do in that video, and John plays his song on 12-string.
@alexbikru Of course you could play it with a 12 string (or 11 string as John Butler does), but it diminishes the sound of the note and the stroke has to be harder and eventually you play with lack of dullness..in the video John uses most of the hammer ons an pull offs with the single G string...that said, both are beautiful melodic and profound songs. ;) thanks for sharing

@MaGmaRinE Yes. Its advanced flatpicking technique thats all. Strumming with combined single note plucks. I don't think he uses hybrid picking in this though. Hybrid picking is where you use a pick and also use your fingers to play notes at the same time.

@RicardoBatistaPassos That wasn't a bend, but I know what you're talking about. I'm pretty sure that was a slide, but even then, you're right, you don't see him sliding anything. Might have edited in the wrong clip, or it might not even be a slide either...

@iswear12345 Lol but I cannot agree. You can play DADGAD or something and stay in tune without fanned frets. Accuracy is more about micro-correction on the bridge.
Fanned frets give you more tension so bass strings sound stronger, louder brighter, less buzzy. It's not about staying in tune. IMHO.
@janklosowski I agree with you but we are both right. It's not about "tuning" it's about tune as in pitch. Every guitar gets out of pitch around the 9th or 10th fret if the frets are not fanned. Andy explains this in one of his video.
@iswear12345 The difference in intonation is small. There is a perfect intonation fretboard that you can find if you look online. But the main reason behind the fanned fret is sound, and the ability to go to lower tuning. A lot of tone comes from scale length. Deeper notes sound better with a longer scale length. A fanned fret gives each string its own scale length, making it sound better. It also allows the bass strings to be tuned lower without losing their tone or eventually rattling.

@KuchikiSAN17 Its so each note can hit the perfect note its tuned to, having a twisted neck improves the sound quality....but so damn expensive!
