I WAS A MEMBER OF THE 163RD FROM 1967 TO 1973. THIS VIDEO BRINGS BACK MANY GREAT TIMES. I WORKED IN AIR COMM, WITH PETE FERRARO, ANDY ANDERSEN, BILL QUINN, RICK BEAN AND OTHERS I CANNOT RECALL ALL THE NAMES. THANKS FOR THIS VIDEO.
I served here from 1968 to 1974 in the Machine Shop under Jack King. I was a Machinist and Air Frame Repairman. I am lucky in that I maintain contact with some of my friends who also served. The Guard was good to me and I have used the training I recieved for the past 40+ years. I am still a Machinist.
Wow,this brings back child hood memories when my older brother was a military police sgt.and I would come ride out with him when I was about 13. They were still flying the F102 at the time. thanks for posting this vid.
Same here. I use go out there with my dad and play in the electric shop. Those were my first real lessons with electronics. I was so young back then...would do anything to relive those days. (just like in the video)... where does the time go?... sucks getting old.

Youtube blocked my audio because it contained a Madona song. I will soon post a link containing the full version soon. Sorry for the audio issue.

Good video. I use to work on Grove. I drove past this facility on my way to and from work. I did not realize it closed in 1985. Interesting history.
