At least they aren't trying to go on strike because they aren't getting paid enough. Most of the people on NASCAR teams are engineers, mechanics, construction workers, etc, blue collar folk. My former crew chief (I joined the air force since then) was former dragster crew chief, and he had a heck of a time with the Super Late models, wound up with Open-Wheel modifieds, and Sportsmen. You want to simplify everything, drag racing is just drive straight and hit the parachute; baseball, hit the ball and run; football, advance the ball to the endzone, prevent other team from doing so, etc...
