It takes years of academic study and time in a laboratory to have a firm grasp on these concepts of biology. I have taken a couple of college biology courses and numerous courses on religion and I know which material was more difficult to absorb. Not just by me, but by the vast majority of the student body.

That would only depend upon how much time/study/money used to get there. 35 yrs + and I am still learning a great deal about the many spiritual mystery's and parables that are not so easy to learn or explain, especially when people are blinded by it as God said they would.

These were people with little to no education and the parables were expressed in a way that they could understand. I have been present for I would guess around 1,000 Sunday sermons and read most of the works of C.S. Lewis. I have read the New Testament cover to cover and the majority of the Old Testament. I was a member of the awana program as a child and memorized scores of Bible passages there. I even preached a couple of sermons myself as a teenager. I am educated in the Bible, Sir.

It takes years of academic study and time in a laboratory to have a firm grasp on these concepts of biology. I have taken a couple of college biology courses and numerous courses on religion and I know which material was more difficult to absorb. Not just by me, but by the vast majority of the student body.

I have been present for I would guess around 1,000 Sunday sermons and read most of the works of C.S. Lewis. I have read the New Testament cover to cover and the majority of the Old Testament. @Acecool444 My beliefs did not easily change. It was a years-long difficult process. I was devastated when I lost my faith. Utterly devastated. My whole life was built on it. But I have recovered and am doing very well now.

@Acecool444 Science gives us knowledge and technology. And yes, some people use this to harm others. But that hardly means that we should abandon science. If anything, it only means that we should use science to do as much good as possible. And I completely agree with you when you say that good and evil are in all walks of life.

I never said we should abandon science. My point was, NOT ALL SCIENTISTS ARE CREDIBLE! And where does science get off mocking God or saying God doesn't exist? That said, Evolution is really nothing but a contrived theory, with no real credible proof. Neanderthal Fossils? Missing Links? Try fraud! Search the evidence of archeologists mixing Monkey Jaw or Skull Caps with Deformed/Diseased/Mongoloid/Giant/Pygmy Human Bones.

@Acecool444 You are absolutely correct that their have been frauds/hoaxes in the fossil record. It is a shame that some are willing to lie in order to gain personal notoriety. But this does not erase the other legitimate finds of transitional forms. And I can't conceive of how one might fake the genetic evidence, which is, in my humble opinion, the greatest evidence to date.

No matter what evidence you see, it does not matter because you already know the truth. And it's truth because that's what the Bible says. No amount of contrary evidence will ever convince you otherwise. You will just continue to do mental gymnastics in order to maintain your faith in the Bible.

Definition of Atheist: (One who disbelieves or denies the existence of God or gods.) Richard Dawkins claims to be an atheist, but he is forming an opinion of God based on the Bible? He seems to be confused; is he an atheist or just a disgruntle Christian who need to get some anger out?
It is very apparent Richard Dawkins lacks wisdom "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom" Proverbs 9:10 Definition of wisdom: (The ability to discern or judge what is true, right, or lasting; insight.)
