I saw this live. Alice was every bit as manic, and in a way that was sexier yet menacing. She really looked like someone who could implode before, say, Amy Winehouse. It was an amazing show, though -- it's very rare that I'm drawn to an artist's personality rather than their technical merits but I was completely raptured here. One of the best concerts I've been to, and this ranges from wagnerian opera to progressive rock to jazz and every flavor of indie/post-rock you can think of.
