  • It just sounds right.

  • 2 people prefer the original, and got their asses burned by Valoo.

  • 2 people couldn't get their sword back.

  • i liked the original better, close but but no cigar.

  • Valoo is gunna burn two sorry people's asses.

  • The two people who disliked this obviously did not get on the dragon's good side.

  • 2 dislikes? who searches for this video and then dislikes it?

  • nerdgasm :D

  • holy crap when did ZREO start? these guys are great whoever they are

  • Holy Shit.

I need to change my pants.

  • @adelisauras that is holy. lol jk

  • ZREO turned this song from Spanish to Asian. I'm not complaining, mind you, I like both styles of music, I'm just saying they turned an awesome song into an awesome song. :)

  • I think this theme is one of the best, original themes Wind Waker had to offer, and that is saying a lot. It's impossible for me to pass this theme off while I play. I just have to pause whatever I am doing and appreciate the first piece of music from the Zelda series I have ever heard.

  • Thumbs up for Z.R.E.O!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sailing......sailing....sailing....*music stops* IM SINKING!!!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!

  • Strangely, this song never felt like it fit the Zelda universe, for me.

  • and who says video games have terrible sound tracks?

  • this is AMAZING!!

  • are people really getting into racial discussions over this? WOW music is its OWN race get over it.

  • the person who disliked this! DIE DIE BY THE POWER OF MUSIC!

  • @TheMezara great music!!

  • @masterash713 sry for that :(

  • @TheMezara BS Battlers: DIE DIE DIE!

  • @TheMezara U didn't know that both Agahnim and Ganon have their own youtube account?

  • @TheMezara THEY MUST DIE *lightning*

  • At least I don't think they have to remove it.

  • I think a couple people are getting a little too bent out of shape over it's accuracy. I really don't care what it's technically supposed to sound like, or what region it's supposed to represent, or any of that nonsensical silly stuff. All I care about is if it sounds good. I am quite confident it does just that.

But, I will say, to each his own, and I mean no offense to those who are a little upset at it. Just, I think those of you who are should just relax and enjoy the music regardless.

  • @CodyRockLee13 It's not like these people are asking the song to be taken down or attacking the author so chill if they are not worshipping your favorite song like a blind fanboy.

They only just wished the China part was removed and I do not blame them. It's not like they (ZERO) have to take the whole song down to remove the china part that does not really fit.

  • @Luciferminusone

I meant to respond to the awhile ago, sorry for that. Let me start by saying... chill out, man. Why're you being so offense by assuming I wanted people to "worship my favorite song like a blind fanboy," even when I was intentionally avoiding conflict by saying everyone has their own opinion and I respect it ("to each his own.")?

I mean, if it sounds good and it's good music, enjoy it. Sure, it's not totally accurate, but it's pleasant to the ears either way.

  • that is probably the most epic zelda picture ive seen

  • 1 person dislikes :O

  • i think Zreo always does a great job at making zelda music. i love it!

  • This is so beautiful!!! I love it! ^^

  • It's well done, its just a matter of personal preference that the original DRI theme resonated with me because of they interplay between the percussion and the rhythm string instruments, a concept that seems dramatically toned down here.

  • Zelda music sounds so incredible. While all other songs just have no tempo. What I mean is zelda music grabs you and expresses great emotion and pulls you in. While other music just doesnt have that trait...

  • ZREO FTL

1:27 violin, so sad and awesome

  • ZREO FTL

  • Zreo has the best music.

  • This is arguably my favourite zelda song

  • not only is the music amazing, but the picture is epic as well.

  • In Ireland, we copulate to this music.

  • i dream at night that my life would be like this game and how awesome that would be...i can't wait for virtual gaming...if it ever happens.

  • The nostalgic power of this song is breathtaking.

  • @SirensFlute There's no nostalgia to it, it's just a good song. Don't sully such a good thing with the label of nostalgia. Nostalgia is nothing but a process by which we trick ourselves into believing our lives were better in the past. This is a piece of music that HOLDS UP.

  • @mjcabooseblu While I agree. This song still is full of nostalgia. Though it is simply beautiful.

  • @mjcabooseblu I exaggerated, but that's because i got caught up in the moment of something i thought i had forgotten. I felt the emotions of the game after years of not playing it. To me nostalgia dosen't have to be sappy or sentimental like you try to make it out to be. It can be a reflection of the past.

  • 1:26, the instrument that starts playing, what instrument is that? I like it. A lot.

  • @fuzzydude64 a Chinese violin

  • @fuzzydude64 A Viola playing Tremelo

  • simply brilliant

  • Zreo does good work most of the time, but in my opinion, this blows.

They put in an Asian element (Chinese violin) when this music is supposed to be purely Andine. Of course, my being offended comes in part from being a Latin American.

I hope they make a purist version later closer to the original one.

  • @Tezcatlepocatl

It should have only the instruments that you can hear in this video:

    /watch?v=_2PUhFUqe4g&feature=related

  • @Tezcatlepocatl The violin sounds FRIGGIN awesome... the Zreo folks were allowed to do whatever they wanted to these songs.

  • @Tezcatlepocatl yo just go to the live version of this song or marcos lopez version. Not quite purist but better.

  • @Lucas7Claus

I checked out the Marcos Lopez version, and it's awesome. Thanks.

  • @Tezcatlepocatl well 1: The Zelda series is a Asian creation (Japan tho)

2: alot of the locations and culture's in the games had similarities to Asian ones

3: Its a fictional game so it could be almost any way it wanted and it would fit the locale

  • @FishfilmInc

At no time did I say that any of that was false. I just said that NINTENDO made this song to be completely South American in style, and ZREO's mission statement is to improve Zelda music by reorchestrating it so it's like the original, only better. Not change it up according to their own taste. And ZREO has failed in that when it comes to this particular piece of music.

Good thing Marcos Lopez did it right, so I can listen to his version in combination with GOOD zreo music.

  • @Tezcatlepocatl I bet you eat lots of asian cock you faggot

  • @CricklePicket

    Interesting wager.

Too bad asians don't have that much cock to eat in the first place.

Seems you're all set to lose whatever money you bet on that...

  • @Tezcatlepocatl And that upright bass throughout the whole thing is....what exactly? Just enjoy good music, no matter it's origin.

  • @Tezcatlepocatl I get where you're coming from, but in my oppinion, it's the blending of cultures that makes the Zleda franchise so great. They've got Greco/Roman, European (English, French, Dutch...), Asian/Oriental, Latin, African...They always have trace elements of various cultures mixed in with one another. I think they did a great job of implimenting that in their version of their song.

  • @Tezcatlepocatl I agree it got a little weird with the Chinese Violin, but without changes, we'd be hearing the same version from the game. I'm Latin too (Brazil), but I didn't got offended, even though the music is way better in the Andine way. And, Z.R.E.O rocks, no matter what they do.

Also, what lunartiger777 said is truth: the best part of Zelda's Soundtrack is the diversion of cultures included and mixed.

  • @jopel100

I agree with lunartiger777 completely, which is why I think it sucks that they took a culture usually misrepresented in video games like the Andine one and took it out of the song entirely, replacing it with the overused Asian one. I wanted a thoroughly non-MIDI, remastered (but mostly left alone) version of this amazing masterpiece.

Z.R.E.O. is pretty awesome, though. I'm looking forward to (finally) seeing more of their work.

  • @Tezcatlepocatl so...

  • i clicked the soccer ball and realized something. What is someone made a song using only vuvuzelas?

  • Brilliant version. I love when the erhu comes in.

  • So So So So freaking amzingly good... Is there anywhere to get the bass riff from though? :O I need to learn this...

  • this is even better than the original arrengement they mad...the first one was more like far east style,,,this sticks more the the original.... but lets accept it...never a redux ...a remix...or an arrengement can overstand an original piece!

  • seriously... one of the best versions ever ._.

    even better than the original!

  • this sounds more like the original than any others ive heard.

    Awesome version though.

    brings back memories...

    ahh the memories :)

  • That was awesome. subbed.

  • Best remix EVER

  • @Jesperbro

You sure shit got that right.
