Even accepting that the show is predictable, you don't sound like much of a mystery fan if that bothers you in any way. Trying to predict the solution is kinda the point of the mystery genre and making it a medical mystery doesn't change that.

Plus the two opening episodes of season six have undergone a complete format change, big risk that paid off. Superb acting from Hugh Laurie. Used to watch him back in the days of Fry and Laurie and still find it hard to believe that he's Dr. House!
