Nightmare used her in many ways.. if you played the ending of Tira in SC3, she recreates Nightmare once again using one of Sophitias children... She still has part of Soul Edge in her, just look at the purple in her eyes.. and shes addicted to killing, so she is practically feeding Soul Edge. And to top it of, Nightmare kills her in the story mode for her soul.

I do not think she is a bad character or something- I love her, at least in the SC3. and I think she looks cool and all, it's just- when someone made as Tira (whom I imagine is careless, rough and you know.. not emotional in the good way) have turned in to what I see there, it makes me mad. your right wisemage0 in Nightmares playthrough he does devour her soul BUT THINK ABOUT WHAT YOUR SAYING. THATS IN NIGHTMARE'S PLAYTHROUGH. but in Tira's ending what really happens is that (SHE USED Nightmare JUST TO GET TO SOUL EDGE), which means that she will be in the next soul calibur when it comes out accept she will be more powerful than what she is. She Never cared about Nightmare from the start. She only cares about Soul Edge.

She's his servant. But I guess we could assume she might have some feelings for him, because they have a lot in common. They both love killing and they're both outlaws hated by the others. That's why she became his servant in SC3 - she wanted to be with someone who's simmilar to her.
