Wear gloves, old clothing, get a drill, go out side, put sticky tack at the end of drill, tack the mini on the drill, dip and spin, takes 5-10 sec and the spinning will make it more equal/no large blocks. very fast and easy.

@grove12345 Not better, just different. This offers a quick way to do an all-over shading job and seal/protect the mini. Some prefer to do ink washes and then apply sealer. IMO ink washes can give a better and more sophisticated result, but take a lot more work and skill. This is a shortcut which produces tabletop-quality results in a fraction of the time.
