Technique is flawless. But art... that requires getting an emotional reaction from the audience. The silences also communicate. The buildup and tension of the tease with the eventual satisfaction of the crescendo. Think about a subject that you'd be willing to stand on a soapbox in the middle of the park and shout to people about, then make a song for that, and be strategic about the melody. Let it out slowly, then let it out hard, etc.
