This is the score that Williams wrote for the scene originally. George Lucas wanted "The Force" theme instead - isn't that correct? A previous commenter said Lucas wanted something "more hopeful," but I thought he specifically called for the Force theme because he was fond of the melody. Anyway, I think "The Force" theme is way, way better, rather than the music Williams originally composed for it.
It's on the 2004 release CD for the episode IV score. I don't know if they have it on itunes, but it is on the CD if you buy it. Another bonus, after about two or three minutes on the same track, you get to hear several different variations of the main title (though the theme remains the same, the instrumentation varies greatly)
That music is actually the original music for that scene. George Lucas asked Williams to write something more hopeful, because he felt the sunset signified change.
*Sarcastically.* Great. That's just what I need. A pervert replying to my comment. Tell me, does that actually work on anyone? Go say that to someone who actually cares.
Way too long!

You know what? It plays very well with the whole scene it was written for; you just have to synch them up to get it to work.

jesus this sounds almost EXACTLY like "Saturn" from Holst's Planets Suite...and we all know he ripped off "Mars" in the Darth Vader theme.
ehh...it's not as bad as everyone is presenting it...it's just a rip off.

0:30 to 0:60.
Dramatic music, better than original. Luke wants to get out home and join the Rebellion.

Na jó, nekem elég a nem-extended-version is. Erre a zenére már azt vártam, hogy összeütköznek a napok, vagy felrobbanak, vagy nemtom.
