Dean DeLeo can make the simplest little power chord progression/riff sound like sex seeming through his amp. That's when you know you're got a god on your hands. He and Slash are two that come to mind when I think of someone who can take jus truly very basic guitar parts and layer and make them into something special. I rank Dean DeLeo's production skills and guitar layering right up there with Jimmy Page's btw.

I think that I'm one of the biggest Scott Weiland fans on earth, and I think this is amazing! I saw AoA live on the 13th and it was a great show. I met Richard Patrick before the show and he was one hell of a guy!

I think Rich does a much better job with this cover than Big Bang Baby and Vasoline.. probably because this is closer to his own style. not that Weiland was a better singer.. It almost seems like Rich just isn't into singing those other songs.

Dean DeLeo is one of the more notable guitarists to come out of the whole "grunge era" music scene IMHO
