@gammathetasbear OK, I understand but why not go fast where there isn't a risk of hurting anyone else. I had to learn the hard way......and I still drive like a maniac XD I just control myself until I am alone.
@oxymoron2727 You know, that's exactly what I did. And when you least expect it, there will be a bear sitting on the other side of a bridge...Just like what happen to me this past week. Seen the charger crawling down the embankment in my rear view...just glad no one was around, took her 7 miles at 170...the bear never got me, but scared me enough to slow it down the next time.
@oxymoron2727 good point, but its not really smart to try and use this to run from cops or cameras you'll get fucked if your caught, i use it whenever some pissed off driver tries to follow me around or turn my plate in to the popo. I'm 17 so if me and my friends are just drivin around bein stupid and some super dad feels the need to call the cops on me, they don't have my plate number. just general privacy.
@ 0:24 i could be wrong but it looks like the white wire isn't even connected to anything. any one else see that or is it just the tape on it blends really well?
It's a great idea but unfortunately the plate is still visible when it's up against the glass. Thicker glass is slightly more effective but would require more voltage. I'm waiting for someone to invent something like those prescription glasses that automatically go dark when exposed to light, which might work when a camera flashes. It's just a shame that gov'ts force us to take these measures with their blatant revenue raising.
Its just a laptop monitor upside down without the paper layers that those monitors have in the back. The guy just puts the power suply and then a white image apears covering what is on the back. Its a trick that can work in a quite dark room.Take a look in the a4 size paper in the back , the monitor must be a 14.5 inch.Life is a bitch.

Vario Pluss Glass makes glasses for cars. You can order them, and find glass installer. I don't know if you lose car warranty after such intervention.
Glass works on 110V, acts like capacitor, but inverter installed in car drains some current even when not loaded. Current is very low and it takes weeks to drain battery if you don't turn motor on to recharge.
Solution is simple: install inverter in circuit AFTER key contact, so when you turn car off inverter turns off too.
Yeah, and the law states ..The licence plate must be undamaged and in the original licence plate holder designed for that purpose..So its illegal. And any cop is gonna see that something is not right there
Does this system, in fact, stay blurred until power is added? If the it does have to have power to stay clear, that's not very good. In the winter when you need all the cranking amps you can get to turn over that cold V-8 engine, you don't really want your battery draining overnight. Say that you went to the store, shut off you car and go in. You come out to a cop looking at your blurry plate. Not good. If its vice-versa. you'd only be using the power a max of 10-30 minutes a day as needed.
@bicyclewreck Then you still have the fact that your license plate is burred, a cop walks by, glances over and notices. You come out to a ticket on your windshield. That is, like i said earlier, unless the system works in vice-versa and the power blurs the plate.
besides it only needs to be on long enough to pass the photo Radars and the highway toll cams then turn it off, and you wouldn't want to leave it on because if a cops see's you and stops you guess your in hot water, HOW MUCH WE talkin?
This film would drain a car battery if you literally left it on for weeks at a time without starting the car at all, this plate cover takes less power than am led light on your stereo or car alarm so no worries at all there. Also this stuff is made to last years at a time, it's expensive and is on buildings all over the world. If any negative comments are felt to be posted please ask first before hand and I'll gladly answer.
@desiredwindows but if you have a hybrid car with some power, you can use the battery to probably run this for a long time before you actually have to recharge the battery....
Simply bollocks? Excuse me mr. "theeagletrainer" before you call someone a "con" please do your research on this material...yes there is glass that's 110v but do you understand how easy it is to get it to work on 12v? If not please don't comment. Also you say that the power is gunna eventually drain the car because it'll always have to be kept on? How about this...this glass is made for energy efficient windows all over the world and takes no power to keep running.
simply bollocks. don't con investors. ur running this on 110v.. you'll never get it to run on 12v. Also, its only clear when the power is switched on, otherwise its opaque... meaning when your car is stationery it will need to have power coming to it.
The film must be on or energized to stay clear. So 99.9% of the time the film will be turned on even when parked on the street over night etc. What is the projected life span of the film when running 24/7/365 ? does it start to go less clear or slightly milky as time goes on? Just curious if anyone knows the lifespan of the product.
The benefits of this are enormous. You've just got to careful how it is used. An automatic turn off sensor is probably needed at stoplights and toll booths with cameras.
@petthekittyz thats what i was thiking. Just looks like a license plate frame and cover and flip a switch going through a speed camera or a Etoll. Or if you wanna lane split/filter, cops cant record ur plate and fine you or come after you.
Yeah these are already on the market, try privacy plates like the guy before me said. I got mine for $199 on sale, work great and its an easy install.
Mate, you should stop investing in your product,a similar and patented product (three W''s tricplate dotcom) is already on the market.Unless you have something more to offer, then save your money.
I bought one of these from switchableplate,,,, it freakin works!!! I've driven through at least 20 of these communist camera speed traps at over 90mph on purpose and still have not received a single ticket in the mail. You still have to watch out for cops though.
Remember that if u put something right behind the window (like less than a half inch), it will show thru the blurry window. It's only good for hiding away things far away from behind the blurred window.
It wont really work well with a license plate pressed up against the glass.
This is a great idea...and I suspect...legal...because it allows complete access to the plate...at all times...except for the 0.005 seconds of a photo-radar shot...
@drcrutch legally speaking, ur not allowed to put anything on top of your liscense plate, which I think includes frames, but nobody really cares that much unless its exremely obvious. this is such a genious idea because its stealth and unsuspecting
Would love to know where to buy this glass. The camera radar signal could be used to trigger it for a few milliseconds and then it will just look normal to the human eye. Chances of being caught would be very low.
if anyone out there is an investor or knows of an investor that is willing to help me out with this it would be greatly appreciated. im trying my best right now to get this out on the market but my investment is running short.
i have thousands of e-mails so keep the interest coming! im looking for distributors and investors, if i can line the two up this will be sold world wide. making only a few at a time will make the product way too expensive.
Glass like that is fitted to expensive bathrooms, for shower cubicles, so when the door shuts it goes frosted. The glass is not expensive, but 12months in prison for Attempting to Pervert The Course of Justice is more alarming. This product can not be used in the UK or even attached to a car or numberplate under current laws. You will not find an investor as people will sue you once prosecuted and you will also end up behind bars! Gumball Rally used them years ago, so it's patented worldwide
switchableplate and covertglass both have the exact product, both have three W's in front of their name and a dotcom at the end. They may want to bring you along, I've dealt with them and they are very cool to work with... PS. I think they have patents, you may want to look into that... But, very cool
@desiredwindows Id do research with companies that are already making it. They will either be interested in producing it and giving you a cut. Or interested in buying the patent to keep it off the market if they feel it will steal business. Either way, its a paycheck. Talk to a patent office first if you havent, then go from there. I'd like 5% for the idea. :)
@desiredwindows hey i dont have car but i worked on a diferrent device to hehe and your is kool but i got some other working idea hehe ...and if you combine your plan and my hehehe ,,,,,, just to give you a glimp i was trying to be invisible to digital camera soooooo ....
How much? This Plus the Loover System and egg white to stop the reflectivity of the place itself with all three I should be set... How much how much..
I can't think of the fine for plate obstruction here in California off the top of my head; iirc it's something like $89, plus the cost of the Loover/Louver ($29), this cover (probably a lot of dough), and a suspended license after all of those points rack up. You do the math.
this is almost finished, were still working out the bugs, stay tuned for more videos, once this is released it cant be beaten, dont confuse this with that cheap stuff you see out there, this has been in the making for over two years and itll withstand any weather and any other source you can think of protecting yourself from.
@desiredwindows "withstand any weather" ? So you've tested it at 40 below and at 130 degrees then? Having a flat piece of glass down at license plate level, it would break within a week due to stone chips in most places. This is one of those ideas that at first seems good, but is ultimately not good when it comes down to practicality.
You need to setup a little website with some more information so you don't have to reply to so many emails. I would be willing to set one up for you at the cost of one of these nifty gadgets.
Great for James Bond, and/or criminals! Stealing gas? Make sure you have this handy gadget! Just get cameras installed at your local red light? Now you can run it all you want!
this looks like a lot better product then the flippers I have seen the thing is by the time you realize its a red light cam the flippers are to slow and I bought one and it has a problem flipping when you hit speeds around 45mph

From experience, I know that if you put the lcd right up against the plate (as in fitted tightly against it), it WONT block out the plate properly.
Notice that in this video, that the glass is an inch or two away from the writing.
Therefore it would need to be spaced about 2 inches away from a plate on a car for it to be effective and would be way too obvious.

@desiredwindows dude make me a license plate kit for me ill pay 200 dollars
STeroidsnicca 1 year ago
@desiredwindows
switchableplate and covertglass both have the exact product, both have three W's in front of their name and a dotcom at the end. They may want to bring you along, I've dealt with them and they are very cool to work with... PS. I think they have patents, you may want to look into that... But, very cool
heetseaker 1 year ago
@desiredwindows Id do research with companies that are already making it. They will either be interested in producing it and giving you a cut. Or interested in buying the patent to keep it off the market if they feel it will steal business. Either way, its a paycheck. Talk to a patent office first if you havent, then go from there. I'd like 5% for the idea. :)

dogmusher 2 years ago
How much? This Plus the Loover System and egg white to stop the reflectivity of the place itself with all three I should be set... How much how much..
adam3176 2 years ago
I can't think of the fine for plate obstruction here in California off the top of my head; iirc it's something like $89, plus the cost of the Loover/Louver ($29), this cover (probably a lot of dough), and a suspended license after all of those points rack up. You do the math.

so how much longer?
bondosgto 2 years ago
this is almost finished, were still working out the bugs, stay tuned for more videos, once this is released it cant be beaten, dont confuse this with that cheap stuff you see out there, this has been in the making for over two years and itll withstand any weather and any other source you can think of protecting yourself from.
desiredwindows 2 years ago
I where can i get one and how much
padgo98 2 years ago
@desiredwindows "withstand any weather" ? So you've tested it at 40 below and at 130 degrees then? Having a flat piece of glass down at license plate level, it would break within a week due to stone chips in most places. This is one of those ideas that at first seems good, but is ultimately not good when it comes down to practicality.

You need to setup a little website with some more information so you don't have to reply to so many emails. I would be willing to set one up for you at the cost of one of these nifty gadgets.

I have also emailed your address, and I am very curious as to where i could get one of these? Any info would be appreciated.

Great for James Bond, and/or criminals! Stealing gas? Make sure you have this handy gadget! Just get cameras installed at your local red light? Now you can run it all you want!
