@thejjor I'm not sure to which part you are referring? In the chorus I play the top and bottom lines. At the end I play a combination; I play the middle and bottom lines then stop playing middle line and switch to the top line to play to the singing part. I don't do it very effectively in this video, but you get the idea. :)

There's nothing explicitly wrong with playing in a "flat-fingered" manner. Your hands should change depending on the song; sometimes you have to flatten your hand just to be able to hit the notes.

This particular piece probably doesn't require very flat hands as the range is very small. That aside I think it's stupid for anyone to disregard the playing because the position the hands are in.

How you hold your hands relates to your comfort, not your skill level.
