  • Great gestures by the government. But I have 1 bone to pick_N this with whichever artsian makes this statues. The Tom Mboya 1 is a shody job compared to the magnificient statues that drape European cities. The Kimathi 1 is even worse. It looks unproportional, unreal and synthetic. Check out the Kenyatta statue at KICC, its a true work of art. You can c that is Kenyatta with added value. This new ones have all but lost it in translation!

  • He was a smart man...a genius. Read his development plan for Kenya!

  • God bless Tom Mboya100%

  • He was one of our true heroes!..and why beat around the bush while it is obvious he was killed by Jomo Kenyatta and his Kiambu Mafia!..just the way he eliminated JM!..and they can go ahead and sue me for saying that!..Kenya would have been different if those people would have lived longer..no forgetting Robert Ouko eliminated By Moi AND Biwott!

  • Mboya was a great statesman and would have made a great president. Happy mashujaa day everyone, one love.

  • Kanyotu died with too many secrets

  • its also a pity that Kenyatta killed Mboya (through the hands of Nashon Njenga of course) he robbed Kenya a brighter future

  • its a pity that great leaders like Tom Mboya were killed but some confused folks like Ka-looser continue to govern our nation

  • History always remembers the good and the bad. Mboya was mos def a hero in terms of the devt and brilliance. Sadly, he was part and parcel of the "mafia" that amended the constitution to solidify Kenyatta imperial rule over Kenya.

@Karuitha, you claiming that your comment could be towards any community in Kenya does not make it any better. We have no time for fools like you. Kenya ni si wote. Deal with it!! Wouldnt be the same if you took out any one tribe. Quit being a punk, you know better

  • I have always admired Mboya's charisma and quest for change.Felled by an assasin's bullet on that fateful saturday morning, the country lost a champion of the poor, a voice of reason, an agent for change.Thomas "TJ" Mboya, the best President Kenya never had.

  • Hahahaha look at Kibaki, he can barely speak. How is he still president?

  • @soundbeans -- Take it easy, he is an old man. He was pretty sharp in his 30's and 40's.

  • It's about time we honored our heroes and heroines dead or alive!! Kudos!!

  • @karuitha ,I believe if u were to lead this great nation, you would obliterate Luo Nyanza from the Map of Kenya cos of ur dislike for Luos ! All I wanna say just deal with it cos they going nowhere them being legit Kenyan citizens. It's time for props for great Kenyan Hero Tom Joseph Mboya not Tribalism 101 like u always unleash it on youtube

  • @karuitha Your comments that TJ was born in Cenral Kenya is the reason he was dev minded is what I call tribal jingoism ! I wasn't born in Cenral but the kinda dev acumen I posess, alot of ppl in central gat nada. Dude you reside in UK and i believe you gotta be exposed by now to notice that in the 21st Century we gat no room ,for racism, any sort of discrimination and last but not least tribalism....Anybody who is a tribalist in any way, is worse than a racist ,cos we the same color period !

  • @karuitha why did you have to renege on your first statement i was begining to think you have some sense in you but wapi sometimes i think you just say these things to stay relevant. ignore him folks, na tuendelee

  • Tom Mboya a true son of Kenya, a true LEGEND.

  • Victim of Kenyatta and Kiambu mafia

  • ...and all of these jokers combined can not equal a quarter of his brilliance and national dedication...No Mboya, no Mathaai and Obama...

  • What do you mean they don't know who shot him?!?! Ok, fair enough.... any suspects that can be named? I could call Oliver Stone and we could make a movie about it.
