  • I love this. When I was a child we sang this in music class (English version) I wish we had the food throwing part. That looked like a lot of fun. Thanks for posting this.

  • The song on this video is not complete. You can see the learning of song, then there is cut and video starts when we sang the Thursday round

  • the lyrics between refrains are about days in week and about several foods he invites the people to eat it together. For example "Come to us on Monday hija hija hou, we will have the cole, (dumpling, faggot etc.) The meaning of song is battle of singers, but this level with throwing of things from table I have seen first time in my life... :-)

  • The video is made on wedding party. The old man is my uncle and this is his special item. The people are handed out to two halfes. First is singing stodola pumpa stodola pumpa (barn pump...), second is singing "skladal sedlak skladal slamu zaskladal tam pani mamu" (Farmer piled straw, he behind - piled there mummy.)

  • We never sang it this way in 7th grade, but this is the best Stodola Pumpa I've heard!
