• @TBwassup what is the individuals name? you know?

  • @bapestaicecream

Ben Del Maestro, he was a little kid at the time.

  • @TBwassup So I assume he does not have this high voice anymore?

  • @bapestaicecream

I wouldn't know, this song is old now, lol

  • i just loved this show, i remember pulling all nighters just to watch it, i loved listening to the openning, i closed my eyes and fall into another demension, wich is just like the universe in ghost in the shell, then i would watch the show, watching every movement and listening to every sound, when it was over, i would turn off the tv, and think about the episode i saw, then fall alseep.

  • This combination of cyber punk techno music with Origa's mesmerizing voice and that opera kid is just too beautiful... I get rushes of chills throughout my body and my eyes tear up every time i listen to this song..

one of my all time favorites.

  • i went to the lyrics, clicked the snowflake button, then went to another tab. wheni wne==ent back to this tab after the song was done, big snowflakes were at the bottom, so like a quater of the video was covered up :3

  • @Tessera12

i keep messing up with the spelling.

  • The fact that there is a pop beat, a opera style, as well as an angelic sound to it makes this the most wonderful song i have every heard in my life. If I could make such beautiful music i would be happy.

  • OMG THIS IS SICK :D

  • This is in Russian, English, and Latin. All the lyrics I see are in English.

  • Every time I press, play I feel sad that the song is almost over

  • Good Videa, any one know the anime clips used? Specially the ones with the guys in the sports car? As for the song, I've had a copy of that song every since Ghost in the Shell, Stand Alone Complex came out, its so, not sure I have a word aor how good this song is, Epic comes close. Its better then anything on the radio, thats ofr sure.

  • O_O *Speechless*

  • I swear when I'm up at two in the morning that this song sounded english to me.

  • 1:39 - soboj ostat´sya dol´she = to stay longer myself

  • This's true meaning of the word "music". Simply love it.

  • a song in Russian and English sung by a Japanese woman. got to love it

  • @Savagegalka Origa's Russian

  • @bosiewkurze yea after seeing video of her i kind of figured that. but you cant edit youtube comments so.

  • I like how she blended the languages.

  • what language is this one in?

  • @EminemFangirl2011 Russian, Latin, and English in parenthesis.

  • This woman has the most beautiful voice on the planet

  • There is a lot of debate over this and that... who sings what... and this doesn't mean that. Who speaks fluent latin? As far as im concerned its close enough, because even without the translation, I could as well as many others could sense there is a higher meaning to the song that touch the very soul of man that possibly cannot be translated into words. Accurate translations are important, but may not be too necessary in this case. T

  • @wrp247 it targets your very soul sends a quickening to it i guess you can say that

  • @wrp247 finally sumoe gets my point why worry bout meaning when the stuff you understand makes no sense the music here just says blah blah blah to me becuz it doesnt talk bout anything

  • her voice, is like, so amazing. it really reaches you deep inside somewhere. just wow.

  • @thatblondechickkk I totally agree with you, before i read the translation and didn't know what was being said, i could feel that and was touched by it. Amazing.

  • 0:47

    murder your roses ???

  • wonder what song did she rip off for this one

  • @Bluestarwarrior1 3 or 4

  • Apperently, it's nalyubuites, mana du vortes doesn't mean anything...

  • This is an epic song. It gets slightly too repetitive towards the end, and I would personally have prefered a more acoustic sound, but still it's just so beautiful! I love it! ^_^

  • this song is my Inner Universe

  • i was looking for this song i finally found it!!!!!!!

  • I just love this song, to the infinite

  • take that stupid techno sht in the background and the song would be flawless

  • i like this song..but i t kinda creeps me out

  • uhm...wrong lyrics in the english part ^^"""

  • This song is phenomenal. Songs as rare as this piece of art is why nobody has been immature and commented on ''puti''. Because, this song destroys any concept of broken actions. It's almost as if we can feel the beauty of this song, and the lyrics regardless that we didn't know what she was saying.

This song shows no limit. No burden. It's freedom. It's truth. It's a birth of light to our ears. A time where you discover, that you were facing a wall your entire life. Now is the time to climb.

  • @TamedShadow well spoken my friend

  • @TamedShadow I could not have said it any better, you articulated exactly what i was thinking and feeling, and probably a lot of us who admire this song.

  • one of my favorite songs love the siries too

  • i love how her songs r like robotic in a cool way.

  • i dont think its watch in awe or heavenly glory.i think its the flow may swallow u the master of death.=-/ its good other then that and a mistake some1 else has already pointed out which u fixed in the annotations.

  • "futur universal language"*

  • There is in : Russian , latin and english. The "future language" for yokko kano

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE LUV IT

  • I don't hear any Latin. It's just Russian and English.

  • @VirtualInsanity The mana du vortes, aeria gloris part is latin

  • @VirtualInsanity

There is latin. Aeria Gloris is latin.

  • Ghost and shell oping theme

  • its calling now not out..

  • The language is russian

  • what leanguage is this in ???

  • Incorrect latin. Heavenly glory should be -" Coelum gloriam"-

  • Could someone please tell me what language this is in? It sounds like Russian but there are also some parts that sound like Latin.

  • Stuff like this should be on the radio, not "BABY, BABY, BABY OOOOO"

  • @LunarElements

Agreed...some people just dont know how to sing these days, do they? xD

  • @LunarElements i agree

  • @LunarElements made 11 year olds cream their undergarments.... <.<

  • @LunarElements Your comment just made me die inside a little bit....not because I like Beiber, but because you made him cross my mind & that or any missfortunate song he has ever created in his career.

  • @LunarElements id do almost anything than listen to justin bieber, id even give the world fatest man a bath, and im prettty sure that would be hard because hed be really big and youd have to get under those flaps. not trying to be mean though.

  • @LunarElements agreed this is true music

  • que idioma es? me encantaria saber

    buena cancion!

  • Oh goddess of music, SING TO ME ^(ToT)^

  • I thought "soboy ostat'sya dol'she" meant "To be myself longer" or something around those lines... .-. o: and that it was "Angel rise and falling" o.o I could be wrong....

  • @animeprincesspop

Don't be too fast to doubt yourself. The English lyrics were a little off, past the point that it can be excused due to the singers accent. The first English verse is "I am calling, calling now

    Spirits rise and falling"

How do i know? EARPHONES! Honestly, people should make sure they can hear the song as crisp and clear as possible before attempting a homemade translation.

  • Yeah this isnt translated literally but to understand. Corse, the "Sprits rise and falling" part is English..... lol

  • Also, I am not sure if the lyrics are correct. Afaik, they say "I am calling, calling now, spritis rise and falling", and as a native speker of a slavic language (not Russian, but close enough), I'm pretty sure that at least the first part is not traslated literally, it even adds some words, but, oh well, the gist stays the same.

(Angeley i demony kujili nado mnoj -> Angels and demons circeled above me)

  • Ben Del Maestro has an amazing voice. @_@

  • @XXTokioHotelBunnyXX the first part is russian ;) but the man du vortes and stuff i have no idea

  • @MegaCatGirl33 Pretty sure that, with the "aeria gloris" is Latin. Sounds like, but I can't be sure.

  • @AnimeCountDown kks

  • @MegaCatGirl33 "Aeria Gloris" is lazy Latin... it is incorrect, but it fits, so no biggie. Maybe "mana du vortes" is Latin as well?

  • @Innuendoh *shrugs* mabe, i don't know even one word in latin :P

  • What language is this in? It sound different from Japanese...

  • @Lillium669 Russian, Latin and English are the languages used.

  • 3:34 Sends chills down my spine everytime. There is so much sorrow and hope in that beautiful voice.

  • Thanks for the song man =D

  • Yes.

  • wow how many languages are used in this song??

  • i believe three. russian, english, and latin. it says in the beginning or end of the vid.

  • @Yazi775 Three, I believe. Russian, for certain. English, obviously. And I'm pretty sure some of it is also in Latin. Beautiful, is it not? Challenging to sing with those high notes, but the song is beautiful regardless.

  • little correction.

    it's not mana du vortes

    it's muona du vortes

  • @runeguru145 Thanks :). Someone else who posted Inner Universe with lyrics wrote this as "nalyubuites", and I heard it as Mana du votis, so I became a little curious as to what the words really were.

  • I friggin love this song! the song gets good at 0:34.

  • youmix,co,uk/artist/14348

  • You forgot to add Ben Del Maestro, he's the boy that starts singing at 0:47

  • @SuperMasterTroll

    BOY!?!? I think that's a girl xD

  • he sang in a few songs in lord of the rings too.

    v=F_q2mYi7N4s (after 3:00)

    v=BFQ7RCBjWYE (after 1:00)

  • Guess ur right. I like around 1:10 when the girls sing it better than later when he does it though.

  • Wtf, are you being serious?

  • @Tinybaby: after looking at ur channel i can fuken say i nailed it mhwhahahahahaha!!!11

  • Ughh...ok? I guess...I don't have the slightest clue what your blabbering on about.

  • @SuperMasterTroll

Please stop annoying the visitors who want to watch this video. Also, avoid any and all profanity. Have a nice day.

  • @SuperMasterTroll

Only singer in the song is Origa.

  • google is ur friend, nubcake

  • @BenHousehold Origa's and Ben Del Maestro's Wikipedia page state different.

  • @BenHousehold Ben Del Maestro does sing in this song.

  • @BenHousehold Yeah, Ben Del Maestro does sing in this song. The change in voice tone quality is kind of obvious, and multiple online sources back it up. He's also the male soprano singer who performed in the "Lord of the Rings" movies.

  • @BenHousehold

Ben Del Maestro (full name Benedict Del Maestro) is a singer, most famous for performing with the London Oratory School Schola on The Lord of the Rings soundtracks. In popular culture Del Maestro is also known for his vocal contribution to the refrain of "Inner Universe"—the title track of the acclaimed Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex series.

    From Wikipedia

  • @BenHousehold Theres actually a little boy that sings the Mana Du Vortes part

  • @BenHousehold Nope. Ben Del Maestro is in the song, too. He's the soprano in the background.

The Ghost in the Shell OST gives credit to both singers for the vocals.

  • @BenHousehold Nah, it's him. 0:47, 1:44, 2:15, 2:59, and 4:25. Even if we didn't know he was involved, the voices are simply different. She can hit the same range, but not the same way.

  • @BenHousehold I thought the same thing but wiki backs SuperMasterTroll up,,,,,wiki may or may not be reliable though

  • @KOSMOS390 wiki is never, it's a big lie -.-

  • @BenHousehold he is right benhousehold, it even says so on the album

  • @BenHousehold sorry no ben del maestro is a tenor hes very popular and he sings at that time

  • @SuperMasterTroll there is no boy in this either...

  • @SuperMasterTroll he has an impressive wiki and it does states that he is on there with origa you know your stuff Master :D

  • What language is this song in?

  • i know it's russian, and latin

  • This language is Russian.

  • i love this song. nice job on the translation

  • No, it means heavenly glory.

  • Aeria gloris means greatest glory

  • @Lightfall18 You're BOTH wrong, Aeria Gloris is lazy Latin, it doesn't translate correctly, but no biggie. Whoever wrote the lyric didn't speak Latin, but who cares.

  • Neat. This is the best translation I've found. The only things that I've seen to be wrong are the lines at 1:10 - 1:20 (and it's repeated later too, of course). The actual English lines are "I am calling, calling now. Spirits rise and falling."

  • @Viresse142 i agree with this, i also noticed there was a line at 2:14 that didnt get subbed

  • this is awesome.
