  • Billy Welu, Dick Weber and Carmen Salvino were the three people that taught me how to bowl when I was a kid. Glad to see Carmen is still rocking on.

  • Salvino is also really really funny.

  • one of my bowling heroes! way to go carmen!

  • It would be amazing to see him at TV finals again.

  • Man, I want to be competing like Carmen does now when I get in my middle to late seventies...WOW.

  • My top 10 PBA Bowlers of all time. 1) Earl Anthony 2) Walter Ray Williams Jr. 3)Mark Roth 4) Pete Weber 5)Mike Aulby 6)Marshall Holman 7)Parker Bohn III 8)Wayne Webb 9)Dave Husted 10)Norm Duke
  • @chuckers40 Who cares?

  • @chuckers40 right, because dick weber was no good. good call

  • Carmen rocks!

  • I like the commercial for the Thunderbolt Dual Block bowling ball that Carmen Salvino was in that aired in 1990 or 1991.

  • without him there will me no Chemical Friction Technology... :)

  • he throws it incredible for bein 76 years old

  • All time top 5 !. Earl Anthony 2. Dick Weber 3. Johnny Petraglia 4. Carmen Salvino 5. Mark Roth. Reason Earl is number one is he did so much in such a short amount of time. He did not start his career until he was well into his 30's. You have to throw Weber, Petraglia and Salvino into the mix for their longevity. Weber bowled well into his 70's and was still competitive. Same for Salvino and Petraglia. Roth was a beast and transformed the game in the 70's.Hope we see him again someday.

  • What is even more amazing is he designs his own equipment.

  • Love it!!

  • He's in amazing shape for a 76 year old. Kudos to Carmen for staying in the game.

  • The pro's that I list below are the one's whom I call the top 6 PBA Legends in the universe.

in 1st place is Carmen Salvino.

in 2nd place is Mark Roth.

in 3rd place is John Mazza.

in 4th place is Jess Stayrook.

in 5th place is Walter Ray Williams Junior.

in 6th place is Earl Anthony

  • @SCKarnik Where is Weber? What about Petraglia, Hardwick, Carter, Nagy, Welu, and all those other greats? I like the list, though I think the others should be listed a little lower. No disrespect, but there are many others that ought to be ranked as "legendary". Here's mine: 1. Earl Anthony 2. Walter Ray 3. Dick Weber 4. Mark Roth 5. Carmen Salvino 6. Mike Durbin 7. Mike Aulby 8. Pete Weber 9. Norm Duke 10. Wayne Webb There are so many others, but I only have o so many characters to use. ;)
  • @syntonik My top 5 PBA bowlers of all time 1. Anthony 2. Roth 3. Weber P 4. Weber D 5. Carter Reason no WRWII is that he bowled in an era when many tournaments had small numbers of entries as compared to 160 back then and he won these titles in more tournaments. Anthony and Roth were the toughest I believe. Great strikers and top spare shooters..always a pleasure. Pete Weber may have been #1 but too many divorces, drugs, alcohol, etc. That killed him - bad attitude. Holman was tough too!

  • He is more than a winner. He is one of the greats. He is one of the pioneers that we should be thanking every time we bowl.

  • He is still an amazing bowler.. It is great to see him throw a bowling ball as well he does. He is forever young.

  • NR 1 LEGEND

  • still pretty good, funny guy too

  • carmen is so cool and hilarious!

  • I hope to throw the ball as well as Carmen does when I reach his age!

  • @irishpogi I wish to throw it as well as Carmen at any age! :P

  • Way to go Carmen....Catch you when your up in Connecticut

  • NICEE!!!! OMG those are like the coolest computer screens fr scoring ever! The ones we have at our alley suck cause AMF rejected our request even though we meet the objected of profit they wanted us to reach within a year....

  • these Are meant for tournament bowling (not sure if they allow open bowling in the center either). so yeah they're going to be big so people can see the scores sitting in the back

  • we got the flat screens up here in Connecticut

  • @RollerCoasterMaster2 They rejected ours also and our score systems are from when they first came out also our lanes are still those ancient woods and our oil machine has been there since the alley opened
