  • mein 2.5 D fährt auch 190....

  • hey, have you had any troubles with your 300E? im considering buying one with 192,000kms or 119300miles approximatly on the clock and was wondering if its worth buying?

  • Man, look out for tired auto box, engine head gasket, air condition controls and central lock.

keep in mind a used car with 200k km is a used car.

My car has almost 400k km, have had to change head gasket once and some suspention parts but thats due to or roads or lack of.

  • ok thanks, hows your gearbox holding up after so many kays? and im assuming that a car of this caliber is costly in servicing and repairs?

  • The gearbox is holding up gr8, and no the car is not that expensive to service. Note that i drive it 90% of the time like iam driving in those vids.

  • that gives me alot of confidence haha, thanks for your help mate

  • Dont go changing your diff before it is near the very last of its life now, ok.lol

  • thanks for the help but me and my friend figure out the orginal owner or a mechanic welded the gear inside of the diff so they both turn

  • .... But as the diff and the diff oil ages the disks inside the diff (5 disks on each side of the diff) become constantly engaged providing diff lock up ratio that increases with age up untill when one or more of the disks become too week to provide lockup, usually you hear a diff whine and a sound when the wheels slip. i once had a 300TE with a diff that was almost fully locked, was fun to drive but very dangerous in the wet too. eventually the diff just gave up. hope that was of some help.

  • Ok got it, well your car seems to have the "ASD" diff, when new this diff only locks up when slip is detected by the speed sens, here the computer activates a solonoid that controls hydrolic oil under high press that can lock the diff from anything between 15% and 100%. Thing is the system only activates if slip is detected when your speed is below 40kmh, and will remain active untill 80kmh.....

  • what i was saying is on my mercedes benz 300 e both of the rear wheels turn on the axle but most of the ones i see doing burnouts or something so only a single rear wheel turning instead of both i was wondering if posi traction rear end came on the car or if it was a mod soemone did cus im not the original owner of the car

ps posi traction = boht rear wheels are powered by the engine

  • i was wondering is your 300e single whell drive at the rear wheels becuase the one i have is posi so i just wondering if it was some thing previous owner installed or if came stock on the car

  • Plz explain what you are talking about, cause i din't understand what it is you are asking ok.

  • For MB-M103 with KE-Jetronic fuel injection ECU-tuning is nothing!

  • the thing is considering the fuel side ya u are correct, but wonders happen when u mod both the injection and the ignition ecus.

  • Can anyone help iam in the uk with a 1991 300e 12v it is auto its gearchange is hard not smooth sound like in video and is no where as fast as the m103's on u tube , PLEASE HELP

  • Nice, also check my video... ^^

  • No I mean the car, haha

  • ya now it make more sence, lol. it is a 1992 W124 E300 12 valve M103 engine. usually this engine gives out 188 hp with no cat, mine has moded ECU and it pumps out 210 hp...
