  • is that your company's logo u know the triangle and the skull and bones in the middle what does it mean and the number too. if u can tell us..

  • @257cks That is one of my logos, yes. It’s designed after the many secret society insignias used throughout history many of which incorporated triangular elements. I call it the Secret Society logo. The numbers are significant to me and the Catspit business. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • you can use aqua net hairspray at a fraction of the cost of these toner aids...jussayin..

  • @gmo0428 Sounds good if it works for you, run with it. I appreciate your input. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • @zeriice9900 It’s laser toner. Toner aide is for use with laser vellum and laser printers. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • @gizmo33rd No problem, I think you can find it for 7 or 8 bucks a can. I guess it can depend on where you get it. You can find it on the Print Supplies page of the Catspit website in one of the vendor’s listings. Link is on the channel page. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • hey im on ur website and video at the same time im really interested in screen printin business and i would like to say its really helpful thank you

  • @lhagiduty Glad to hear you checked out the website too! Thanks. You’re welcome, it’s my pleasure to help out and share information. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠

  • @CatspitProductions If i printed with an inkjet printer, would the toner aid still be useful? I like that it made the print darker and that would block the light for a better burn to the screen right?

  • @urtpublic I don’t think this will work with inkjet ink as it is designed to work with toner. It really sort of melts the plastic toner a bit more into the vellum paper. And it helps fill in the toner/paper texture. That’s what makes it look blacker. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠

  • Hey!

I got a question that i really need help on if you can. I recently bought a inkjet printer from Lexmark (Prospect SEPro208). I tried using transparecy paper and the ink just would not dry. I have vellum from years ago, and i tried printing and it printed out ok. do you recommend a vellum that would work well, does any vellum work good? I can't find much info for inkjet printers. PLease get back to me, im very new and starting a screenprinting business. Thanks!

  • @daniela8262 I don’t know of any vellum for inkjet printers but I’m sure you could Google that and find something. There are a lot of films for inkjet printers but you have to make sure it is inkjet film. I think transparencies are for copiers or laser printers which is different from an inkjet printer. That’s why it won’t work with an inkjet printer. Thanks for watching & commenting!

  • @daniela8262 you definitely need a pigment and inkjet compatable film, not vellum. Any reputable screen printing supply company has it.

  • @hivedrone83 Yes, I use inkjet film rather than vellum. This video is for all those who do use vellum. Toner aide can help out a lot but in the end inkjet film will be a lot better. You can buy the same film I use directly from my website too. Check the Print Supplies page! Thanks for watching & commenting!

  • in halftone pattern, my inks usually cloged in the screen. waht will i do to prevent it?

  • It shouldnt be doing that with plastisol inks unless you are double hitting with a flash cure and not allowing for cool down OR you are using water based inks which have a tendency to dry in the screen. It is hard to tell what is going wrong unless you tell me more about what you are doing. Feel free to message me. Thanks for watching!

  • yes, im using waterbased inks. it is very popular here in our place( Philippines). it is easy to get. but it cloged the holes in the screen specially in the halftone. i can only print 8 to 10 shirts and it is all cloged up. and i have to wash the pattern again. by the way im using water based rubberized inks. and the results are just not well in a long period of time.

  • Water based (WB) inks are notorious for drying up in the screen. This will be even more of a problem with halftone screens. Make sure that you are back flooding the screens between prints. That means, after the print, flood the screen with ink for the next print and move to the next color back flooding each one as you go. That should reduce the problem but you will always experience some drying with WB. Retarders are available for some WB inks that slow this problem a bit. Thanks for watching!

  • now i know what back flooding is.. now i printed more than i usually do!! thank you so0o much for the advice!

hoping to read more from you!!

i've learned a lot from your videos!!

thank you so0o much for your support!

  • LOL. I am glad to hear that helped you out. Thanks for letting me know! Im glad to be of assistance in any way. Thanks again for watching!

  • do u use transfer paper

  • @Alidore4 - Transfer paper is used to heat press tee shirts. I screen print commercially. Sometimes I make heat transferred shirts for myself. There are 3 Catspit videos about heat transfer papers. Please visit my channel page to watch them. Thanks for watching!

  • Thank you very much my good friend!

  • Won't it irritate your skin if you touch it while it's still wet ? :)

  • Toner aide is not really corrosive or aggressive in that manner. It doesnt irritate the skin unless you are very sensitive to industrial chemicals, which many are. One could use latex gloves as a precaution if skin irritation is a concern. Otherwise, it is just very smelly and many people may react differently to the odors. Like nausea or headaches. Again that would depend on sensitivity. Thanks for the great question!

  • nice.

  • Thank you...and thanks for watching!
