  • I thought they were 217hp stock, nice video anyway

  • عز الله موتر

  • 215km/h

  • nice acceleration and good brakes, too. typical mercedes.

btw the w124 is the best car ever engineered!

  • my 240D maxes out at about 140km/h and it takes quite a bit.. havent tried it but stock 0-100 is 25 seconds anyways.. :P

  • These were the best mercs ever. This car has done quite a lot of mileage but then again, these engines can handle it.

  • good

  • I have E class (w124) 1994 250diesel and it goes 220 km :) it has 90 HP :)))

  • TO CAKI JEBI HIM MAMU!!!!!!!!!!

  • just letting you know factory time to 220kph was 34 seconds.

  • @NOBEANERS im not so sure this a very accurate number. i think a stock w123 3.0 m103 needs 29sec to 200km/h

  • 最後是.....引擎掛了!

  • Hey does anyone know how fast a 1993 mercedes 300 2.8L 24V do 0-200 km/h in? Its 194 hp and 199 torque..Just stock..Please send me a message if you know!!!

    Thanks

  • Where can i change my ecu?????

  • .. i drove already 240 kmh with my 300CE :D

  • I have a 300E too but where can you find an ECU upgrade?

  • Comment removed

  • we have 1990 mercedes 300e 268000 miles and it runs like it just came out of the factory, w124 the best mb ever!!!!!!

  • @MrCdvyas my brother has a 1992 mercedes 300D 2.5 turbo with 300k miles...my moms mercedes 300te has 302k miles and my dads has over 700k miles on it...mine about 160k =P

  • Great Performance.

did the gas milage change after you modified the ecu ? does it consume more now or less fuel ?

  • i think my car's ecu does a perfect job. Not tryin to be disrespectful or anything, but ECUs on MBs are optimized perfectly for hp/reliability stock. Turbos need a new ecu cus they need more gas sent to the engine. running an engine richer without any other modification is just wasting gas. Plus a Benz is designed to run on high octane fuel stock anyway

  • My 93 400E can do 150 mph all day long... most newer cars are limited to 130 mph (where's their top end?! LOL)

  • Hmm 300 TD cabriolet rulls guys.has 260 km/h and 8000 RPM.i took the car on a highway with 245 km/h and quess what was the consumption 130 miles.About 11-12 l/100 km.That was amazing to run with more then 230 km/h at this consumption. The car has 186 hp

  • 213 km/h not 220!!! :D lier

  • nice work man ... i have 1990 CE300 12V but it`s stock .... i hope some day i can upgrate my ECU like that !!!! .... see my car in my page !

  • Seriously powerful for a 1.8ton vehicle...

    Loooooving it

  • I have a 89 mod C300CE 132kw 180bhp. i love it :) would be funny to achieve more bhp with a chip, where did you get it?

  • i have a 300E 1989 (295,000+kms) and it still runs like its 2years old. instead of 20.

  • @jayco4 ya i belive u thats right

  • Have you only put ECU???

I have the same car but stock =(

  • Which yearmodel is it? Where did you buy an upgraded ECU to it, i can't find a damn thing ;/ I Got a 300E M103 -1987

  • i have a 300E 12v , love it !

  • VROOM VROOM VROOOOOOMMMMM

  • Ilove this car men!... the best machine ever, mercedes benz never die!

  • @palenense you are right its great car its better than bmw and j cars

  • Surely nice..

But for a young boy like me i would like to achieve that speed if the road conditions permits.

  • Where do you get a performance chip for the ECU?

  • lol i have the 300E but mines idling is kinda played with, so when i push full gas it sounds like a race car, but still the cars PULLS you

  • 3.0 V12 in my golf would make it possible to close the clock ;O

  • szybki ;o

  • 217km/h^^

  • hi can anyone help with this chipping i live in denmark europe , i want one hehe

  • I wish the diesel tuning mercedes scene was bigger in the US!

Then again it makes me stand out more =)

  • Hey where do you buy the upbraded ecu from? Could I stick that in a 87?

Or actually which engine is better the 87 or 93?

  • man my ecu was modded by a tuner here in lebanon and as far as i remember he hasn't done so for some years now. as for the engine from what i know the year 87 engines are the most powerful ones. ur car should have aroung 190+hp as it is. if the car is a 300 12 valve M103

  • wow thats nice, do you ever get it to 7k on rpm?

  • highly not recommended valves tend to float as the lifters are old

  • I am surprized to see how the M103 engine performs so well in such a high mileage. Good video!

  • excellent engine, parents own the e220 engine with 240thousand km and its still a great engine, good power and good torque

  • i own a w124 230E with 312 000 km and its still running great lol.

  • i Got the 3L diesel version, and it has 421.000 and the best thing in the car is the motor, te rest is ...

  • its diesel or petrol?

  • Man r u kidding??????

have u ever seen a diesel rev so hi man, come on.

    ya its petrol 3.0 engine

  • Heh, yes I have.......but it's decidedly NOT recommended... 8^)

  • guess it blew up!!!! i wish diesel could rev to 6k rpm.

  • Actually, no......I was surprised that it didn't. It wasn't one of these, but some of the new diesels can safely go to 8,000 revs and beyond.....it's amazing....and painful-sounding! (You feel like it's gonna blow the whole high range!)

  • What are you talking about??? New diesels reach their peak power at 3500-4000 , while the 250 diesel 20v and the 300 diesel 24v, made in the ninety's reached it at 5.000. They could rev to 5400-5600, and that was the highest a diesel engine could ever reach! New diesels can barely reach 4500-5000...

  • The big diesels, yes. However, the military has been working with some small diesels for motorcycles and now some of the civvies are starting to put them in things like expensive ATVs. They red at 8000rpm, IIRC. Look around on the web, you'll find it.

  • I thought we were talking about cars :-)

  • Yeah.....but check out the common rail diesels the new Mercedes are shipping with.....I bet the revs are way up on those......don't know for sure though.

  • nice car xD

  • It's a 24Valve version?

  • no, a` 12-valve m103 enginge 3.0L

  • Lol i feel sooo dumb asking this but what does an ECU do lmao, *looks to the ground in shame*

  • man it is the electronic control unit. car's computer that controls ignition and injection.

and it is never too late to learn somthing, never asking to learn is the shame.

  • haha well well well then, thanks nice car btw, ;] plannin to create a 190E 3.0 sportline ;DD

  • i hope thats not your oil pressure light that comes on

  • no man, it is the slip warning light. it lights up when any of the rear tires spims 2 km faster than the front ones.

  • why does your speedo jump just before 80?

  • Cause my gear box shifts under fullpower, like you are flat shifting in a manual box

so wheels spin then grip. In the wet its a killer usally. lol

  • what a good girl, wouldn't try that in many other cars of that age, can't think of any, suggestions?

  • maybe another merc ;)

an older model as well. lol

    but ya u r correct.

  • That yellow lamp inidicates anti spinn controler in action , nothing else.

  • what model that is? 88,89 or?

  • its a 1992 w124 e300-12valve

  • my bro has the 1993 w124 e300 with a 3.2 ... he is a lucky fuck ehh? a bit rare to find now a days ;)

  • nor really i got two w124s

  • what i meant is that the 93 years a bit hard to find nowadays...

  • It should kick in @ 40 Kph if it dosent then your cruse control is faulty.

  • the orange bar is in mercs in between 80s and 90s..its no longer here now.. u did start the accel. at 30km/h.. and why did the speedo jumps after a gearchange? is it bcause of wheelspin?

  • Ya new cars have lost both the orange bar and the gear max speed indicat... and yes i have the gearbox shift pressure increased thus more spin on sifts. its a handfull in the wet though.

  • ya i started from 30 but for some reason i ended up naming the vid wrongly lol. my bad

  • man , i'm getting one of these w124

  • i have a w124 but it's a e250

  • Cruse Control markers Remember these cars came out in 1986 on radar then, And for the safty thing thats just Funny

  • ok you say it is for cruse control, well why does it start at 50kph and not at cruse start speed of 40 kph. i am more willing to go with city speed limit theory rather than having to do with cruse. But i have to say that the safty thing, you found funny, came from an engineer who stil works (35 years so far) for mercedes germany.

  • I got a 1989 And have tryed to set cruse below 40km dont work at 40-50 it will kick in. Maybe it does mean the safety thing.. But you would only be safe in front and rear crashes, hmm I am going to look into this one Radar ruled out!!

  • Ok letme know what you find, cause i wanna know why all mercs had this orange strip in all its speedos even up to the w140 of 1998. If my memory serves me the W126 had 2 of those orange bars but it might be w140 got to check that. The other dashes on me seedo r for shift points.

  • I think that the orange line between 40 to 50 k/ph is when you can activate your cruse control.

  • yup!!

  • Can anyone help iam in the uk with a 1991 300e 12v it is auto its gearchange is hard not smooth sound like in video and is no where as fast as the m103's on u tube , PLEASE HELP

  • its the city speed limit in Germany..50 km/h...radar control take a nice pic when you´re faster then 59...so its marked 50-60..

  • im pretty sure the orange bar between 50-60 kph indicates the maximum speed for first gear

  • So y then does the S 500 w140 have the same thing on its dash between 50 and 60 kph? Yet the 500's first goes all the way to 80 kph....

  • youre right... i noticed that on an sel class a while back. thanks for the correction

  • what's the orange bar in between 50 and 60 kph?

  • I am not absolutely sure but i believe it indicates the speed margin that the car will remain safe in the case of an accident. Cabin space and structure that is.... That's what a Mercedes tech once told me.

  • My guess is that it warns you when you're crossing the general city speed limit at 50 km/h. The speed margin in which the car remains safe, should also vary from car to car

  • Its basically telling you MAX city speed driving...What you should be doing at least..

  • hey jay its anis.c . great videos , they are so cool!!

  • What have you chipped it with?

  • There is a guy here he does the chipping, it is custom made and not a branded one. Those cars' ecus are simple basic units, thats what i heard at least.

  • Well could you tell us who is the guy doing your chipping and how much did it cost you? Since i own also a w124 1991 300E. And i live in Lebanon too. And any other upgrade?

  • Nice vid. Do you know any kind of upgrade to a 300 turbo diesel. What can I do to improve the power a little bit???

  • Kriegersich u can open up the boost and try giving it more diesel, like bigger injectors. u should get more punch.

  • OK, thanks!!! I'll try that. And I'll keep looking for any kind of chip of something like that as well. Again, thanks for your comment!. Mercedes Uber alles!!

  • thats not a e300 ! thats a e260

  • i am sorry but thats me car and it is a 12 valve 3.0 w124 "E300", 1992 mod

i would like to know what made u think it was a 260E?

  • Whoa! That's one quick 300 M103! Very impressive...
