The movies that totally put me in the Halloween mood are the disney channel halloween movies like Hocus Pocus, Halloweentown, Mom's got a date with a vampire. But I sort of like horror movies also like Pan's Labrynth, Seven and Amityville Horror. But Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Saw scared me to death!

Have you ever seen Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer? It's excellent. One of my favorites. I also love love love love love Children of the Corn, and the Shining. Newer horror movies aren't really my thing, but I did enjoy Paranormal Activity, as well as the first 2 Saw movies. I hate hate hate The Last House on the Left, because of the rape scene.

I think there's going to be a Saw VII and VIII and the producer said that it will be in 3-D and production is slated to begin in January 2010.

And In the same interview, "Saw VIII" was confirmed for an October 2011 release.

honestly, typical horror flicks never did much for me- I saw House of 1000 Corpses when I was pregnant- everyone was so worried I'd freak out, instead I spent most of the movie rolling my eyes!

What movie truly, intensely scared me? Signs! The night I saw that movie there was a meteor shower. My fiance drove out to the country where it was dark, to see the shower. Next to a corn field. We had to leave, I couldn't get out of the car!

horror movies creep the crap out of me and they have to have a good storyline otherwise it's worthless to me to watch them :P I adoooore stuff by Tim Burton... he's more of gore than scary but w/e. Sleepy Hollow has gotta be my favourite. Beetlejuice, Sweeney Todd, also so amazing.

Hocus Pocus is soo nice i used to love it when i was younger haha. I've watched The Ring and kinda liked it. think thats all :P

Have you seen Funny Games? I love horror movies but usually they give me one or two good scares and that's it. But with Funny Games i was feeling stressed and unconfortable for the ENTIRE MOVIE and i left the theatre with a not in my stomach.
