The only one socialism of the rich is National Socialism(Nazism), than more than a type of socialism is a response against socialism. Democracy, understood as the goverment of the people, is only possible in socialism. We need a real democracy, now!

It's interesting of course because actually it was a socialist response to save the banking system using public money. In an actual capitalist system, there would have been no bail outs or otherwise. What we have in this country is not a capitalist system but a mixed market economy that incorporates both socialist and capitalist notions. The act of the bail outs, with which you lefties so vehemently disagree, was actually a socialist response not a capitalist one; get your facs straight.

@discoveryii The banks WERE nationalized for a brief period. It was a socialist response. They should have all been allowed to fail.

Whenever you want the government to regulate anything you are giving up and loosing some liberties, this loss of liberties hinders us from achieving. With this system you are unjustly favoring the people in society who achieve very little, and encourage them to continue to achieve very little.
