I was thinking...the reason Zipper and Sony have dumbed down SOCOM for the broader audience is because people are getting dumber, stupider and lazier, so much that they don't want to take the time to get whooped in the game for awhile to get better. I was around 14 years old when I played SOCOM 1 and I whined a screamed yes, but I got better and loved the game after that/ The real fun i n SOCOM is the fruit of all the hard work.

Epic fail? Zipper shouldnt have let us play the beta they woulda got more sales. Only about 500,000 copies sold. Socom 1 had 3,000,000 Socom two 2.5 million, Socom three 1.5 million, CA had a million.
Ok, what I did was DL the game onto my HDD just to try it out and I had plans to buy the game if it was good. as soon as I played the game a realized that there is a button cover system i was turned off. I then realized that there is no lean, and the camera is wack as shit. Slant sux put out a better socom for the PS3 than zipper. How sad. I have given up on this franchise. I played one online match and I was just not feeling it. Combined assault was the last good socom, and that is really sad

Well, I played Socom since Socom 1 and all I can say is THIS MUST STOP. Well, I played Socom since Socom 1 and all I can say is THIS MUST STOP. Zipper should know of all how this game should be played and I over estimated them think ing that Socom 4 would put this game back on top. AND NOT EVEN CLOSE. The Playstation Move????
