  • do not use hydrogen peroxide on endo cases for irrigation or it will discolor your teeth and turn it into gray when it gets in the dentinal tubules.

  • This is very detailed and i do enjoy seeing what is going on inside my mouth so this gives me a better visual!

  • very nice work!!

  • i dont think that tooth was inflamated~ it was not the pulpitis~ why u did the RCT on a good tooth~ i dont understand~

  • What do you mean why he did an RCT? were you there to do the pulp test? Did you see the x-ray?

  • @reefturkey did you see bleeding from the pulp?? that does not normally accur in healthy pulps.

  • mto bom

  • i can't understand althoug im studying dentistry !!!

  • nice job, is it a pulp polip? are u a endodontist?

  • oh wow im glad u put it for private that is soooo gross and got to hurt

  • Thank you to putting the video. Usually dentist in Canada use NaOCL

  • Very nice!!

  • beautiful, nice footage

  • Whoa! Can you explain in simpler words what it is that they were treating? Was it kinda like a root canal?

  • that tooth looks so screwed up!

  • Nice access opening and clean pulpal floor. I would like to know the liquid you used which effervesced. It does not look like it was NaOCl. Also, the irrigant you used, is it comparable to decontaminating the pulp space ?

  • you first have to put hipoclorit of sodium and then oxigened water i dont speak very good english but in spanish is hipoclorito d sodio y despues agua oxigenada!

  • you don`t need NaOCL in this case for it is not gangraena pulpae ;)

  • wtfffffffffffffffff

  • yes, sodium hypochlorite (6%, 20 ml for 15 min)and the distilled water. :)

  • jesus christ!!

This is not a thing so funny to see O.o

  • nice work, very nice.

  • nice RCT.... wouldnt be like that on the NHS though. Shame

  • *pukes* I'm squeamish, and i have to get four teeth pulled tomorrow, I'm trying to figure out if i can get them to put me to sleep like last time...

  • if you are not comfortable with putting your hands inside a really wet and warm and smelly little hole all day, being a dentist is not for you.

  • "The humna mouth is a disgusting place" so true quote from "FINDING NEMO"

  • Y is it bleeding.

    Teeth dont bleed o-o

  • teeth have a proper blood supply inside them...and they do bleed....sometimes alot. believe me....

  • this video is cool.........

  • what is endodontic?

  • i'm a ddentist.....i'll let u know.....endo means inside and dontic is tooth......so endodontic refers to treatment which is from inside the tooth.....hope u got it.....

  • You seem to have a "I know something you don't know" sort of attitude just because you're a dentist doesn't mean you have to be an ass.

  • no no.....was just intruducing myself and trying to let u know something.sorry if you felt otherwise.....take care

  • grabbing ass

  • liked the Fizz

  • OWOWOWOWOWOWOOW I MAY HAVE TO HAVE THAT DONE> NOONE DRINK COKE!!!! IT's BAD FOR YOU> OH TEH BLOOD THE BLOOD

  • ew.

  • They always look pretty but how did you sterilise the tooth. How did you ensure that the patient was NOT affected by the root filling materials. WHere is the science to support your practice

  • There are several well-respected peer reviewed journals exclusively devoted to the science of endodontics (root canals) that have been around since the '60s. Do you have any well respected science to support you?

  • I sure do. Even the Austtralian Dental Association of March 2007 state clearly that there is NO way to sterilise a canal. Aside from this the J Endod says this also over and over again. they also acknowledge that it is impossible to remove all dead tissue from the canal let alone the dentine tubules or accessory canals and they are now even admitting that all root filling materials are at best cytotoxic

  • If I ever have an abcess, I will be very happy to have modern endodontic therapy. This has saved the teeth of thousands of young and old patients. Your comments do not make a real point and repeating an article's own words obviously doesn't make a new point either. They said it first, after all. Have you had some half-assed root canal fail? What's your beef, mate?

  • gross

  • the bubbilng is because the endodontist mixed EDTA (chelating agent) with sodium hipoclorite, which is not that wise cuz what actually happens is that the NaOCl loses its anti bacterial properties when in direct contact to EDTA.

  • I have no clue what u jus said

  • I have a clue! I'm a dentist and I was wondering what the fizzing was since this has never happened with any on my endo's. But then we use NaOH to rinse and no EDTA. Besides extractions endo's are my favorite past-time :)

  • Nice obturation, mate.

  • is that the pulp cavity?

  • Ouch.. ugh.. shit.... now all my teeth hurt...:(

  • that shit looks like it hurts

  • very very nice.

first i searched video with german task words, but no results came up.

so it´s very nice to see how and what they do when tooth doctors do that with our tooths.

normally we just sit there and wait until the doc is done, so for me it´s really interesting how it looks.

    greetings from berlin

  • i love all the dentists in here arguing... its awsome... and very educational.

  • i need this.

    :(

  • mmm, I'm all hot now.

  • who wants to throw up wid me!!! :DDD

  • This is endontic treatment or often known as root canal treatment of a lower right 1st molar. Probably caused by decay resulting in a hyperaemic mesio buccal pulp horn- ie it bleeds when probed! The irrigation is definately sodium hypochlorite (Bleach) and EDTA- ethylene-diamine-tetra-acetic acid. The combination of the two forms Oxygen to kill anaerobic bacteria and chlorine gas to kill everything else. (except E. Facaelis). The 17% EDTA also removes the smear layer prior to obturation.

  • looks painful. i liked the bubbles.

  • awesome

  • Was that treatment a crown?

  • Composite most likely

  • Why was root canal treatment indicated? It seems to be a pulp exposure due to trauma. I would do a direct pulp cap with CaOH. Go for Minimal Intervention.

  • What kind of irrigation was used? It doesn't look like NaOCl.

  • Perfect! I just had this done today, and i was wondering what it looked like! thanks for posting. FYI: it's not painful at all! It sucks having to have it done. But when you're in the hands of a specialist, there are no worries!

  • So thats what it looks like! Eww It made my mouth water! not in a good way.

  • that is painful.

  • Very interesting. I'd like to see the whole procedure!

  • this is NUTSSSSSSSSSS. It is disgusting! OH PLZZZZZ

  • first rating was *****, now after second rating, 3.5* left, means that the second rating was a 2*. must be a real frustrated person.
