  • Always loved this part of the movie!! My son was Lumiere in his school play, so now, this scene is even more special to me :)

  • I love 3:58

the clock looked so cute with his little dance!

  • @5ive5tarChick his name is cogsworth

  • Look at the time? Oh no! it's 9:25 off to bed, off to bed.

  • I love this movie what a classic

  • And this, everybody, is the affects of LSD.

  • You've been Trolled! You've been Trolled! You have probably been told. Don't reply, to this guy; he is just getting a rise, out of you! Yes it's true, you respond and thats his cue to start trouble on the double while he strokes his manly stubble You've been Trolled! You've been Trolled! You should probably just fold When the only winning move is not to play And yet you keep on trying, Mindlessly Replying. You've been Trolled. You've been Trolled. Have a Nice Day!
  • Such a casual reaction to a talking clock and candlestick

  • Who plays Lumiere? His voice is beyond shmexy.

  • @SuperBelkar Jerry Orbach

  • @smuckdog1 Thank you.

  • Chip: Yeah, I'm totally okay with you drinking out of my head! ._.

  • Oh! it just does it autiomaticly!

  • Hiden Mickey! 1:08! Srry I dont know how to to the fancy thingy!

  • @FooFooFred4Freder i dont see it.....

  • I can only think of trolling now

  • everybody talks about the food but nobody thinks about where the food comes from...beast never leaves the castle so he cant go get food and theyre all dishes and napkins...there are no ppl! who gets the food????

  • 64 people think the grey stuff isn't delicious...

  • i had a fucking big crush on lumiere when i was a kid...HAHA

  • @parisaniee you had a crush on a candle? might've been really awkward when making out with it

  • @evilgeniusg2 shut up i luh him

  • I love this song <3 The 3D was soooo great!!

  • Actually, Cogsworth had the right idea with the glass of water, crust of bread thing. It sounds more filling than a little bit of the grey stuff...

  • the song... youve been trolled... look it up

  • Guess I wont know what the grey stuff is...

  • Glass of water crust of bread.

  • the captions are SO accurate!

  • Seeing this in 3D yesterday was absolutely magical <3

  • Belle walked into the dining room high on acid, and this happened.

  • 1:She doesn't eat anything!

2:She picks up Chip to take a drink, but doesn't.

    3:The match Lumiere's holding doesn't get lite.

4:How did Cogsworth get into the pie without getting a hole in it?

5:Why are the feather dusters there?

6:They have 30 spotlights above the table, just sitting there.

7:They have 10 super-sized wedding cakes, just waiting around.

8:If some of the food's alive what would happen if she ate them?

9:All that food, and drink went to waste.

    10:How didn't Beast hear this?

  • I should say be my guest but that would be cheese

  • Wait... The spell on the rose says he has to find love by the time he is 21, so he is 20 years old... But at 2:21 it says they have been like that for 10 years... That means the enchantress casts the spell on him when he is only 10 years old! Who the heck casts a spell on a 10 year old? Especially for not realizing true beauty , he is 10, no 10 year old understands true beauty.

  • @jkwaffle I thought it was the rose will bloom until his 21st birthday. then it will wilt. He must find love by the time the last petal falls

  • @GJCTV I thought it would finish wilting on his 21st birthday.

  • @jkwaffle I guess that's I interpreted a bit differently

  • at 3:22 is my favorite part :3

  • Just got back from seeing this in 3D. oAo This song somehow manages to get even better.

  • We're doing a theater presentation of this at school and i have no idea how there going to be able to pull this off.

  • I seriously can't help but smile when I watch this.

  • This is my favorite song in the movie.

  • I think this may be my next Disney video... it's going to be difficult, all those key changes!

  • I used to play this cassette loud as possible and do the Lumiere voice-I'm not embarrassed to say that...

  • Anyone else amused that Belle never actual eats anything.....?

  • @chesterandsarahsvidz I remember noticing that as a kid too!

  • i hate this song cause its freaking always stuck in my head.. <3

  • It's 1.40am, and this is stuck in my head XD

  • A fingerful of tuna, a fingerful of chocolate and a cherry. Oof, what a feast! It'll take months to work off all those extra pounds, eh Belle? ;) But you have to indulge yourself sometimes. Maybe if the food stopped dancing for a second she could stick a fork in it and actually eat. Don't worry though love, you'll get a bowl of porridge later!

  • 3:28 to the end is my favorite.

  • Ew gray stuff!

  • Totally Jane Eyre and Mr. Rochester <3

  • Does anyone else notice how she eats almost nothing?

  • @Jodabomb24 shes setting an example, "dont eat food provided by a talking candle"!!

  • @rose20272 When I'm hallucinating talking candles, I'm usually pretty hungry too...

  • @Jodabomb24 I know , when I was a kid I wondered why she didn't eat anything except lickt that grey orderve.

  • @Jodabomb24 She's secretly stuffing her face when there's a close up on a fork

  • @Jodabomb24 Musical numbers fill you up

  • how do you choreograph something like this?

  • the singing beer makes me laugh every time.

  • 1:30 I have a feeling if these spoons commit suicide Оо

  • i just watched that... and now i wanna watch the rest! ah!

  • Jerry Orbach plays luimierre,he died in 09 I miss him

  • "This time of death" O_O closed captioning...

  • Thumbs Up If You watched This On Closed Captioning

  • Has anybody considered what time this took place in? I mean the Eiffel tower wasn't built until the late 1800s and a castle wouldn't be there since after the French Revolution there was little to no Monarchy. However, with clothing it could be some place in the late 1600s.

  • @girlishgamer1 Clearly the silverware invented the Eiffel Tower as a way of stacking themselves up. Whoever designed the Eiffel Tower got the idea from them.

  • @girlishgamer1 you also have to add in there are wolves. The famous wolf hunt in france in the geduvan providence occured early 1700's

  • Chip's the best character

  • I just wondered, what happened to the forks, knifes and so on they had before everybody was turned into furniture..

And do they have it again after the curse was lifted?

Anyway, a really nice movie. =)

  • a classic

  • @MeetAlex1 so by your logic, in AN* enchanted castle, anything could happen, even a teapot having a young kid, despite the fact that the teapot is old. I mean, if you're going to question that, why not ask how the teapot even has a kid, or how chip is still young even though he has lived in the castle for assumably quite a long time

  • She must have been stuffed after eating like 2 or 3 tastes of food.

  • Why is Mrs. Potts worried about a spot when she's serving tea in a cracked cup?

  • @MeetAlex1 does anyone else think its weird that the teapot can talk?

  • @TyW112 not really, it's a ENCHANTED castle...where anything can happen

  • i <3 the miss potts scene< but does anybody elese think its weird that she has a kid (chip) when she is so old??

  • I'm feeling very sorry for whoever got turned into the toilet, or chamber pot.

  • Better in French !! :)

  • Youve been troll'd.

  • This scene gives me goosebumps! I miss these types of classic films so much, i shall never get bored of them! So much love and passion gone into them

  • Love this scene (:

    - The Disney Geekette °o°

  • How did he not set the match on fire?

  • ^^ I remember doing this show, Beauty & The Beast, with my classmates in school for a school play xD

  • haha my cousin have over and said arent you gonna sing? and i said sing what? and he said "be out guest" and i started singing it :)

  • when cogsworth says: "My goodness, look at the time" i think the clock says like 9:30... of course she wouldn't go to bed THAT early, or would she?

  • I don't know why but it really annoys me that Belle has all that delicious food in front of her and all she doesn't eat ANY of it! Like, seriously if you won't eat that food I'll have it!

  • 2:18 "Bitch please. This is Salt."

  • for some reason, Lumiere looks a bit like Timon, especially at 1:12

  • hehe im cogsworth!!!

  • "Try the grey stuff it's delicious"

not exactly the best way to persuade people to eat something...

  • The gray stuff tastes good. I've tried it.

  • is it me or does this sound ridiculously similar to the second quarter of the first movement of Mahler's 3rd symphony?

  • is it me or does this sound ridiculously similar to les poissons?

  • one thing i don't get about this movie if all the cutlery and pots and other stuff were people what happens when they turn back to people do they need to buy all new stuff? lol

  • love thissong alway have always will:)

  • Great song, followed by great animation (even if it was made close to 21 years ago!)

  • why does Mrs. Pot remind me of Ron's mother??

  • @martinjohn95 I even checked to make sure, they do sounds alike

  • @martinjohn95 Because she's the homely motherly type person in the same way Mrs. Weasly is... Plus they have similar figures.

  • I love how Beast is upstairs and fails to notice the whole thing.

  • @DarkwingCentral you forget this is a huge castle

  • @DarkwingCentral I love how there is a talking clock and candlestick. :)

  • L'accent français qui déchire tout !

  • Lumiere is like Little Mermaid's Sebastian, the show man that carries the show :)

  • O gawd im trying out for the musical and i cant remeber any of the lyrics! wish me luck...

  • I dance to this! xD

  • Yeah. That's probably the biggest Disney decision: which is better, Beauty and the Beast or The Lion King? Big question. I just love both!

  • @SegaGenesisFan115 OMG they are my two favorites :)

  • I fell bad for lil kids today...

    1. all they learn is sneaking out and proving others wrong, and love relationships.

    2. They will never feel the magic like we had from disney....

    3. We saw amazment in everything all they see its old

    4. We had imagination from disney movies they won't

    5. they were ACTUAL movies for ANY age, now it's only for lil kids.

Disney is not what it use to be. I miss that. And ACTUAL DISNEY MOVIES Today lil kids will never have a magical experience like we had.

  • @waitwhatareyouasking, as someone who also grew up in the 1990s, let me just say this...

Every generation gets affected by nostalgia as they get older and begins to think they're the best, that future generations are somehow deprived of all the "great things." The truth of the matter is that each generation defines itself differently and has trouble understanding posterity due to nostalgia's enormous impact. Ever notice that the older we get, the more we start sounding like our grandparents?

  • @ZhangtheGreat The reviews of the 21st century Disney films actually point out today's Disney films faults. They rarely whine about nostalgia.

  • @Sincerelydamike, ah, but you can tell that those reviews are affected by nostalgia. Many reviewers today also grew up during the 90s (remember that "grew up" doesn't just mean childhood; it could mean college years as well) and feel sympathetic toward Disney Renaissance films.

  • @ZhangtheGreat True, but there are recent Disney live action-films that have received favorable reviews (First Pirates, Narnia films, Enchanted, Marvel films, etc).

Also, the reviewers who grew up the 90s grew up in a generation where movies rarely got bad reviews.

  • @Sincerelydamike, actually, the 90s had TONS of awful movies that received terrible reviews. The difference is that, as we look back, we tend to forget them and only remember the great ones. Why? Well, who wants to remember garbage from their childhood, right?

  • @Sincerelydamike WHAT? There are tons of bad films in the 90s. It is a memory thing. Nobody ever remembers bad movies from the 40s, 50s, 60, or 70s because that was decades ago and all the bad movies became forgotten. Once in a while you hear a thing or two about a movie back then such as the films by Ed Wood or by watching Mystery Science Theater 3000 or Elvira specials, but that is it. As time goes on, bad movies become more and more forgotten.

  • @waitwhatareyouasking Am I the only one to notice that Disney is pimping out their princess' with gems and jewels and look ridiculous now? I saw a disney princess book that had ariel with a gold mertail, with jewellery dripping off her head, ears and waist. Then bell was on the back-with the same problem.

I doubt they'll ever be able to capture the same magic from years ago. But, I can just go back and watch the 'oldies' instead.

  • @Blackemperess Actually, Tangled was incredible! It had the same magic that the old ones did <3

  • 0:00 cogsworth: Allright, Fine! Glass of water and bread...

    Umm... 3:28 hehe...

  • I think "Beauty and the Beast" is better than "The Lion King." There, I said it.

  • @IJVin -Gasp- O_O!!

  • i do a theater play of "Beauty and the Beast"

  • @3:24 The phantom of the opera is there, inside your mind...

  • Shouldn't the flame on his head go out when he puts the cap on. Damn me and my scientific mind.

  • It must suck for the person who turns into the garbage can :(

  • How many servants does Beast have? O.o

  • See my vest.

  • this video ends at 4:20 and im blazin on a beauty and the beast video...smoke out!

  • i bet prince harry sings this in the showerr

  • @RulerofPanem wrong song

  • my least favorite disney song.....

  • that is one charming candle

  • I wish my dishes could wash themselves too...shame

  • Mrs.Potts is like an older Snow White to me...how she orders everyone to clean up like in "Whistle While You Work".

  • I want to be their guest, that would be amazing! :D

  • Mrs. Potts sounds exactly like Mrs. Weasly to me...

  • lol 2:57 "Heaven sakes is that a spot?" love that part!

  • I always wondered if these servants occasionally felt resentful over 'Hey, why did the clock boy get legs?'

And always wondered: these guys have spent ten years trapped in a castle in which everybody either has no working digestive system, or can hunt for their food. And any chickens or whatever that were laying around would have turned into cutlery.

Hey, at least they can MOVE. The servants in the Cocteau film could only turn their heads or move chandeliers or doors.

  • It's even weirder when you know who voice acts the clock and the candlestick:

David Ogden Stiers who plays Winchester in MASH

Jerry Orbach who plays Lennie Briscoe in Law & Order

  • I don't blame her for eating whatever it was at 0:55

The Container threw up into the bowl

  • After the meal:

    "Well, cherie, cash or credit?"

  • HOW DO THEY SHIT?

  • This is the most trollicious song.

  • I would like to be a guest! *turns into toilet* uhh... never mind.

  • Magique

  • I don't care how many high school musicals they've made. My children are going to grow up aside Cinderella, Belle and Aladdin. The true classics ^_^

  • such a cool song

  • ....And that was the last time I took LSD in that creepy castle.

  • I really like the vest

  • oh disney i love how you hide racism in plain sight lol

  • How many fucking servants can one guy have?

  • I randomly break out into this song... and then end up having to hum it because I can't remember the lyrics. Still, it's catchy.

  • Reminds me of the Troll Anthem lol

  • I love this movie but I've always wondered.. What happened to all the stuff when the servants got changed into silver wear and furnitures..

  • Jerry Orbach is amazing here.

  • I just saw my school put on a play of this, and as soon as I got home I looked up this song! ^_^

  • the showstopper.

  • I'm a little hungry *Tastes a little bit with her finger* Mmm... I'm full now.

  • @shopeer lol hahaha I know right

  • this is my favorite part! my french teacher shows us this movie all the time

  • Comment removed

  • beauty reminds me of lois griffin.... hm..

  • Like Belle, I couldn't possibly go to bed now. I'm caught up in a nostalgic Disney moment!

  • She didn't end up eating anything, all they did was sing...

  • Note to self: Do not watch this while high on sleep deprivation..

  • I dancing to this x]

  • Lumiere is like Sebastian, and Flounder is like Cogsworth!
