Yes, my boyfriend has all three. We watched the third and were kind of surprised, it wasn't really death note, just had L in it, which I guess is why it's called the spin off.

its really interesting when local movie theaters bring in Anime movies for 2 nights, such as bleach and Death Note, the Anime is really good and goes into way more detail then the live action

The Live action is better than the Anime in my opinion but the Manga are a must read to unlock the secrets of L's identity/past. So they are worth a read. Anyway, the music is appropriate. I can't wait until I can get my laptop back. I miss doing video editing. It's why my channel is so bare.
