My dad was a truck driver from the year 2000 to early 2010. I used to go out with him every summer, then i spent 2008 til the time he got off the road with him out running freight across the highways. It was a life i enjoyed and a live ill take when it comes time.

I cry just about every time I hear this song. My cousin was killed memorial day weekend May, 24 2009 due to an alcohol related car accident. Every time I hear this song I always think of him. Rest in peace Jordan! Ride on Murph, ride on!

This song is unbelievable. I don't think of it in the literal 'i'm a fast driver' sense, but how easily I can make connections with the feelings and the significance of the highway and driving away from troubles, it's just a brilliant song. Jason your songs complete me, there is no other artist out there like you.

Jason Aldean. Has alot of meaning in his songs. And this song goes out to my dad. Him and his big Kenworth. Awesome person he was we had our days just like every son and father would. But at the end of the day i miss him and love him like my best mate. And last of all. His Kenworth still rides the highway so does his spirit . Keep on truckin! to everyone who has lost a favourite person on the road. Be proud. They done all us boys proud :)

My niece was killed in a car accident, a driver deliberately hit her vehicle and she was killed on impact. We dedicated this song to her as remembrance. She was so young and only married for six months. A piece of me died with her. This is for you - Tessa. I love you forever and always.
