@junkaccount4297 If he used a button it would stay on too long and possibly jam the machine. Buttons are active 0.9 seconds in the vanilla minecraft. It appears that he keeps the lever flipped for about 0.3 seconds. Politically speaking that would dispense 3 carts thus jamming the machine. Hope this helped! :P
